Hotel Catarata Río Celeste

Nice place for stop over. Middle of jungle. Put hangers up and maybe mini fridge.

Pros: The private unit with hammock. Breakfast and staff.

Cons: The reviews say it. No where to hang anything, bathroom needs updating but it’s fine. One hammock.

Pros: - very nice location in the jungle - There are hammocks in front of the rooms to relax with a view of the jungle - very attractive environment - Breakfast very good (Gallo Pinto, eggs, fruit, toast, coffee, juice) - Parking space available

Good stay, very nice garden

Pros: Family room was large and clean with a nice big shower and warm water. Could use some sidetables next to the bed. Big garden around where we saw a sloth, frogs and toekans. Staff is very helpfull

Cons: There is no airconditioning. It is also not needed as it cools down at night but it is difficult to dry stuff that got wet.

Pros: The guy of the reception was very kind The pool was cold was very refreshing A good brakefast

Cons: They didn't have a baby crib, so we had to upgrade to a room with 3 double beds. There was no fridges in the room. It took us long 20 muinits to drive until we found a mini market to buy water and snacks

Nice place in a nice nature setting

Pros: Very nice pool and friendly staff, with a private parking. Well located to visit the Rio Celeste waterfall.

Cons: Room slightly small with not much storage space.

Pros: This is a great place with a lot of value for the money. The only thing better than the location and surroundings were the people there, especially Kenyer who really took his time to show me around and did everything to make me feel welcome. He even spoted a sloth in a tree on the property. The pool area is great and although the water is a bit cool, it is chlor free as it comes directly from a river. Very refreshing. Breakfast was great as well. The outdoors shower in the bungalow a bliss. All in all one of the best places I've stayed in terms of feeling relaxed and welcomed.

Cons: My bungalow did not have a working light that you could turn on or off from the bed. Also the bungalows have very nice gardens but no loungers to chill in. Some lounge chairs in the gardens would be awesome.

Amazing spot!

Pros: Loved this place it was so perfect in the rainforest. Had the best pool and was so quiet. The free breakfast was amazing too!

Cons: Nothing everything was amazing! It be nice if they had little shuttles to take you to the rio celeste park but it wasn’t too far of a walk.

Great value, beautifull area.

Pros: The gardens and trails are fantastic. Great value for the price compared to other lodges. Rooms are old and not the cleanest. But the price is fantastic. And greatly located for tenorio.

Pros: Great location, superb staff, real jungle feel, beautiful pool (if a little cold).

Cons: We had one night in a room and then upgraded to a bungalow. Bungalow was incredible. The room was a bit tired, the bed wasn't great and you can really hear the neighbours.
