Bird paradise

Pros: The staff was very kind, the property was very nice. We liked the free bird watching trip and watching the birds during our breakfasts.

Cons: Our room was a bit older but was clean so I really cannot complain.

Nice place, incredible evening walk, lots of things to do

Pros: Huge resort, but it was very quiet when we were there. The staff is really friendly, we got an upgrade to the best building (700's) and the evening walk tour was amazing: we saw lots of animals, and even a mom with a baby sloth!!

Cons: A big smell of cleaning materials was there. But all others things were great.

Great stay in a lovely hotel

Pros: Breakfast was great, buffet style, everyday fresh and delicious. Staff were professional and polite. The hotel is located in a lovely piece of land by a river. The gardens are meticulously taken care of.

Bird watching at breakfast

Pros: We saw fantastic creatures at the property including iguanas, howler monkeys from our balcony, red eyed frogs and a great variety of birds. We loved being able to watch the birds at breakfast and the breakfast choices were very good.

Cons: Some improvements as an eco resort, eg in the bedroom there’s a sign for separating bins for recycling but only one bin given. Some attention needed to maintain standards of bedroom.

Pros: Lovely resort with lush garden, view on the river with some wildlife. Nice pool and jacuzzi to relax after busy days visiting Arenal area attractions.

Cons: Minor comment on breakfast which was pretty simple and very repetitive. Could try not to serve same warm dishes every day.

Very nice place to stay 30 min from La Fortuna

Pros: 30 min from La Fortuna, rooms were nice with balcony. The restaurant area was very nice and you could see birds feeding nearby during breakfast. We also had dinner there which was very good.

The perfect place to relax!

Pros: The property is really beautiful - peaceful and relaxing. Our room was great and it was lovely to be able to walk along the river and spot the wildlife. The food was excellent and the staff were lovely - friendly and helpful.
