Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at Las Iguanas. The family who owns the place is super friendly and welcoming, the bungalows really nice, breakfast excellent and spending new year's eve, on our honeymoon, in the hot tub was just a dream. Finally, seeing mama sloth with her baby was just the cutest thing ever!

Cons: Nothing, though the way up from the bungalow to the breakfast area was definitely a good workout for my calves😂

Beautiful paradise location feels like you are staying in the middle of the forest!

Pros: Beautiful location, quite a long way out of La Fortuna but that suited us as we wanted remote. The grounds as just amazing, very well maintained gardens, and we loved sitting in the outside kitchen area watching the hummingbirds with a morning coffee. Didn't use the hot tub but it seemed like a nice luxury to offer. Breakfast was good. Rooms had everything you needed. Loved our stay there!

Cons: If you are planning on doing a lot of activities around La Fortuna/Arenal be aware that this property is a 20min drive away from anything (on fairly busy, pot-holed roads). (We were happy with that but might catch others out.)

Pros: Beautiful location, just a bit outside of Arenal, which gave us some more chill time. The room was a bit old, but still really nice. The staff was super helpful and welcoming.

I would absolutely stay again.

Pros: Location was great, close to everything that I had booked. Very good communication, quick replies. The manager/owner went out of his way to come by the property with a card reader for payment. He then suggested a few options for excursions.

Amazing

Pros: Very clean and it was above expectations. I got foodpoisoning the day before i got here and the owner is so kind and helped us with everything. Definetly a good place to spend your days.

Beautiful hidden cabins

Pros: The location was beautiful, we even saw a sloth! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the bed is quite comfortable.

Cons: The location was quite far from la fortuna, so be prepared for a drive to town!

Great experience and friendly staff

Pros: A very special experience to sleep in the bungalow, we took good use of the Jacuzzi and on our last day we were able to see a sloth, just 20 meters away from us! We were signed by José, very thankful for that and what a lovely host!
