Hotel Suerre

Pros: This place had everything, and the rooms are better than the pictures. So many activities to do and very nice food and cocktails, we really enjoyed our stay!

Great gym and facilities

Pros: It had an amazing gym and facilities. The room was large and comfortable and excellent value for money. Great stop if heading to/from east coast

Great value and location

Pros: Excellent value and location for overnight stay before transfer to Tortuguero

Pros: This is our go-to hotel when we are in the area. It's comfortable, clean, great location and great food. It's a good family environment.

Cons: The bathrooms could use a little love. But they are clean, just outdated. And we couldn't get the hot water to work.

Surprised. Good Stay

Pros: We had a very good stay at Hotel Suerre. We were quite surprised to be honest as did not expect it to be so being quite cheap in price. We stayed at Hotel Suerre as a small stop while travelling from the Pacific to the Carribean. The breakfast was good the rooms clean and spacious, the facilities were very good. There is also a slide to the pool and a small playground where my children could enjoy themselves. Very equipped gym, good jacuzzi etc etc.

Cons: The apertures as they do not close very well and you can hear everyone who passes by the room.

Perfect stop on the roadtrip

Pros: A gem when it comes to what you get included in the room rate; motel style parking in front of the room (when in the parking area side), olympic swimming pool of good temperature and fully equipped pro gym(!). Comfy queen size bed in a fairly quiet guest room. Well working AC. Good pillows.

Cons: Lacking heated water in the shower.

Great visit to Suerre

Pros: The attention was exceptional! Everybody working there is always with a smile and willing to help

Small rooms but plenty to do outside the room.

Pros: The pool and club area are great. Perfect stop along the road for our kids.

Cons: The rooms were simple and smallish for our family. We stayed one night only and for more this would be a problem. Also the breakfast could use improvement - we found ham in the scrambled eggs which is no fun for vegetarians.

Perfect location for access to La Pavona and onwards to Tortuguero.

Pros: Clean and convenient for a stop en route to La Pavona (for a boat to Tortuguero).

Pros: Nice and tidy Hotel. We (our kids, my husband and I) enjoyed the big pool. The kids liked the playground. We also appreciated the breakfast buffet and the meals in the evening.
