Lovely beach front property for a couple of nights stay and long beach walks!

Pros: Hotel Terraza del Pacifico is undergoing positive upgrades and the views from the restaurant and garden are amazing. We have enjoyed watching the pelicans surfing the ocean waves from our breakfast table! The food quality at the restaurant was very good. Pharmacy, well stocked supermarket, coffee shop, bakery and couple of restaurants are within walking distance - we loved restaurant ANIMAL.

Cons: We hope that the positive upgrades will include better pillows for future guests. The proximity to the coastal road and music from the restaurant can be too much for someone wishing for an afternoon siesta…

Beautiful setting for a comfortable hotel.

Pros: We were able to watch an international surfing competition right at the hotel the first night. I really liked that we were able to walk on grass and still see the competition and the sunset without having to get sandy. It was also so nice to use the pool and still see the ocean.

Cons: The light in the bathroom was set on a motion sensor and we never could quite figure out how to keep the light on. It was only a problem when we showered.

Nice, clean and very friendly hotel.

Pros: The room was very clean and comfortable, nice size with working fridge, TV and nice balcony. Bathroom was very nice too.

Cons: The wifi was very poor. But that was my only negative.

Overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely go back!

Pros: The room was spacious, close to the restaurant and pool, regularly cleaned with good aircon and TV. The staff were so accommodating

Cons: We were charged different prices for the same food multiple times, the drinking water wasn’t very cold

Pros: Fabulously located. Great sized rooms with 2 very comfortable double beds. Restaurant overlooking the sea. Swimming pool also. Great food in the restaurant. What more could one want!

Relaxed place to enjoy pools and beach on the Pacific coast with easy access to tours in Jaco.

Pros: Direct access to both pools and beach were a hit. Complete with shower/foot wash at re-entry point. The breakfast was traditional Costa Rican fare (fruit, rice/beans, plantains, sausage, and pancakes) and was good.

Cons: Restaurant and drink service were fairly slow (not applicable to breakfast buffet) but the food was good.
