Peace of Paradise Breakfast Included Free Manuel Antonio Park Tour

Pros: It was a great place by the nature with a lot of things to do around and many recommendations! We liked our stay a lot!

Truly a piece of paradise

Pros: The location on a quiet street surrounded by trees meant our balcony was a great place to view wildlife, Sitting on our second floor balcony we say capuchin monkeys, a lone old howler monkey, a large sloth hanging from a branch, several aboutis, macaws and many other birds. There was plenty of hot water and the kitchen was well enough equipped to make lunches (or a light breakfast on those days we didn't feel like the substantial one included with the room). Our room at the back was very quiet (except for the howler one night) and the bed very large and comfortable. The staff were friendly and all carried language translators on their phones when our Spanish failed us. They even did our laundry for a small fee.

Cons: The Wifi was very good except for a few occasions when it wasn't there for an hour or so. The breakfast area was open to the street so it could be a bit noisy and might smell of exhaust--though again mostly it was a quiet area. Strangely, the bed was almost too big, nearly filling the space for it and making getting in and out tricky. Still, all minor quibbles in an otherwise excellent stay.

Pros: Good communication beforehand and we had a friendly greeting on arrival. Lovely idea of a free tour of Manuel Antonio. Very comfortable and spacious cabina with seating outside and chairs and table inside. Large shower with shampoo - bring your own shower gel. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast included. Good restaurants and a small supermarket within walking distance. An enjoyable stay.

Cons: The reception is rather small and untidy and a little off putting and the outside breakfast area could have been smartened up a little too. We managed, but there are many steps up to some of the rooms and to take luggage up was a bit of a pain. No car park and we just had to pull in on the side of the hilly road and hope for the best. We would have loved to take advantage of the free tour, but registereing with the company that the National Park use proved impossible, despite several attempts and we had to go elsewhere for a tour who registered on our behalf.

I would stay here again, I look forward to next time.

Pros: Nice location, great breakfast, very modern facility.

Cons: There were minor maintenance issues my room could.have used, nothing major just that touch of care and attention. My TV did not work and I managed to catch management outside my door during a checkin (bad time I know) and I got the feeling he could not be bothered right now, no big deal, but he never came back to check on what I wanted, probably forgot, stuff happens.

Great location, loads of animals but a bit rundown

Pros: The place is right in the jungle and we saw monkeys, Macaws and agoutis. Rooms are spacious, air-conditioned and have a large comfy bed Location is excellent as this hotel is close to anything in Manuel Antonio

Cons: Facilities are a bit rundown and in some places there's a bit of a damp smell The dining area needs some improvement

Wonderful garden, great location.

Pros: The garden was lovely, we saw squirrel and capuchin monkeys, agoutis and macaws while eating the delicious breakfast. The studio was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Great location to access activities and the beautiful beaches.

Cons: No cable TV

Great location with lots of wildlife

Pros: Great location in walking distance to the bus stop taking you to Quepos/Manuel Antonio. Loved the scarlet macaws nest at the property - that made our stay!

Cons: The room wasn’t 100% clean (some dirt under the bed and “wardrobe“. The breakfast could be improved by having better juice options (the option we had was just sugar). The breakfast area is lovely in theory but would improve to be prepared in the mornings by putting out chairs and wiping the tables so that you can actually sit there. We had to ask every morning if that could be done for us.

Recommended

Pros: Good location for exploring the area. Very good service from staff, and nice to see macaws & a kinkajou in the trees above.

Paradise

Pros: Everything about this place is fantastic. The staff are incredibly friendly and have very good tips on what to do and where to go in the area. The facilities were amazing, everything was very clean and well equipped and we were lucky enough to have the room next to a tree where we were visited by 2 macaws almost every morning! Absolutely amazing place, would highly recommend.

Pros: Very nice and spacious apartments, you can see lots of animals in the garden as well. We especially appreciated the tasty breakfast (eggs, fruits, gallo pinto, coffee) and very good internet connection (sufficient for making work videocalls). The hotel manager is very helpful and responsive. We also took the park tour they were offering and that was an incredible experience, would really recommend it!!
