Great location and room, average breakfast

Pros: The accommodation was very good, lovely to feel you were staying in the rainforest

Cons: The breakfast was poor for the money paid. Very limited selection. No yoghurt, no cereals, white bland bread. You could only choose one option from the menu. Average fruit bowl given to us after complaining.

Very relaxing stay at the end of a very active holiday

Pros: Beautifully maintained gardens and pool area. Staff are great, friendly and helpful. Very well appointed rooms.

Cons: Th restaurant is essentially a sports bar and not to our taste. We didn’t enjoy the restaurant enviro or the food/wine.

Perfect stay in Manuel Antonio with a free daily monkey show included

Pros: A quality hotel with a nice staff. Perfect breakfast by the pool. Many animals around, including agutis, squirrel monkeys or different birds. Thanks to its location it is easy and cheap to take an Uber to visit Manuel Antonio NP or the superb nearby beaches if you do not want to drive.

Perfect stay in Manuel Antonio

Pros: We stayed for one night but we would had gladly stayed more. Nice staff, room was big and clean and with very good maintenance. Very good breakfast. Position was perfect around every restaurants.

Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a boutique hotel surrounded by nature.

Pros: The hotel is surrounded by nature and you can see a lot of animals in the premises, we saw monkeys, lizards, iguanas, and macaws. The room was very big and comfortable, and the pool area very nice.

Cons: The food could improve a bit.

Pleasant three night stay

Pros: We stayed in a deluxe king suite which was spotlessly clean and very spacious. It had a nice balcony but unfortunately overlooked a car park. Hotel was in a good location close to restaurants and shops. A taxi to the national park was only 10 dollars. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast choice was poor especially if anyone has kids as no pancakes or waffles or cereals. Bar food was ok .

Cons: Breakfast offering could be better.

Pros: Very nice property with lot of wildlife. Nice pool and huge rooms. Everything was good.

Pros: Beautiful hotel with nice pool (and cocktails for those wondering). The rooms were spacious and very comfortable! Lots of Ara’s flying over daily and monkey giving a show at the pool side.

Paradise for a couple of nights 😍

Pros: Stunning. Wonderful environment. Moses was a very helpful and enthusiastic team member and a credit to the hotel. We loved seeing the natural wildlife outside our room and breakfast was great. Our room was spacious and bed super comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Cons: I like to have tea and come coffee in the morning and the offerings in my opinion could have been better.

Pros: I had a very pleasant stay at Ecotica Boutique Hotel. The room was exceptionally spacious, with two large double beds and plenty of space to move around comfortably. One of the highlights of the property is the beautiful garden and jungle surroundings. From the pool area you can easily observe local wildlife such as capuchin and squirrel monkeys, as well as agoutis, which made the environment feel very special and relaxing. Overall, despite a few drawbacks, Ecotica offers excellent space, lovely surroundings, and great wildlife viewing, making it a memorable stay in Manuel Antonio.

Cons: There are a few areas that could be improved. The bathroom is quite dated, and the shower is difficult to operate, requiring a bit of trial and error. While some reviews mentioned bar noise, I personally experienced no noise issues at all. It’s also worth noting that the rooms are located on a hill, and the pool area is on the opposite side of the property, so there are a number of stairs to manage. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast, which had very limited options and the smallest fruit portions I’ve been served in any hotel.
