The Falls at Manuel Antonio

Peaceful, relaxing and close to the national park

Pros: Felt like being in the rain forest. Staff were so helpful. Food was great and at a reasonable price. Rooms were clean and any queries were quickly dealt with.

Cons: Had to get reception to connect tv to the internet to watch YT NF etc but done quickly so not a big problem Breakfast bacon very tough

A fabulous place to stay to explore Manuel Antonio

Pros: We spent 2 nights at The Falls after making a change to our original accommodation & I'm so glad I booked here instead! The food was great and the pool area was perfect for relaxing after exploring Manuel Antonio. There are restaurants & a supermarket nearly by - it's a steep walk back up from the beach but there is a handy bus service that runs up & down the hill with a bus stop right outside the hotel - we used this for our early trip to MA National Park. We saw monkeys, scarlet macaws and a sloth in the trees opposite the hotel - incredible! We were in bungalow 6 which was very private - this is a fab place to stay, would highly recommend.

Cons: Nothing - we loved it here!

A comfortable calm oasis in a central location with parking.

Pros: Conveniently situated but surprisingly quiet. Rooms were of a good size with quality fixtures and fittings and the bed was comfortable. Nice jungle outlook/garden. Quiet aircon and a ceiling fan was provided as an alternative.

Cons: Nothing really.

Pros: What an incredible boutique hotel. It completely exceeded all expectations. It was our last hotel of our 3 week trip and was by far the best. The staff were all so friendly and helpful with my baby girl and also booking tours. Our room on the first floor was greeted by monkeys every morning. They would often join us at the beautiful pool too. All of it was stunning

Cons: Nothing not to like!

Pros: This was a very nice hotel. Stayed here for 4 nights, and enjoyed it! The location is perfect. On our way back and forth from the beach and the resort- saw sloths, two types of monkeys, and red parrots. Spotted a few red parrots inside the resort as well. Breakfast was the best we've had on throughout this trip. Lots of options. Staff are very friendly. Entire time feels like you are in botanical garden. Thank you!

Pros: The location, the garden, the pool, the birds (Macau parrots)

Cons: Lazy, unfriendly staff. They were busy on their phones, video calling their family’s or on Tik Tok, or playing pool in the lobby. What a waste. Mostly we were the ones saluting first. They could learn some stuff from the staff of the Agua Azul restaurant! There they will treat you like family! What a delight!

Pros: Great hotel in a beautiful setting, surrounded by nature. The room was very big and comfortable, nicely furnished. There are not too many rooms so you have good amount of privacy. The common areas are excellent, with great care taken to keep them in top condition. Good location not far from the beach, restaurants and shops.

Cons: The staff were generally helpful but the attitude of the breakfast staff felt like they were annoyed to work with the tourists. Fake, forced smiles and sometimes borderline unpleasant. The breakfast buffet was rather poor, with no plant based milk available and the juice sweetened and watered down. Considering the price I would expect to have some soya milk at least.

Pros: It looks even better in real life than in the pictures. We liked our patio. It's set right in the middle of a lush, jungle-like garden, which made it feel intimate. The bathroom was much bigger than expected, and everything was spotless. Spending the late afternoon by the pool with happy hour drinks was the perfect way to unwind.

Cons: Just one minor irritation: the chairs were soaked from other guests. But aside from that, everything lived up to our expectations.
