Lovely few days in Villa Roca. Fab view

Pros: We had a problem on arrival but the staff Joanne Gerard were so helpful and pleasant and solved it all.Xenia was a great help organising hoursThe premises are tired but the staff and location make up for it. Easy bus ride the 1km to the beach as it is quiet a steep hill and no footpath.

Cons: It was quiet disturbing the HUGE amount extra we paid by booking through Booking.com. Have use booking for years but will be more careful in the future.

Beautiful location and friendly staff

Pros: This hotel was in a great location with stunning views from the pool and restaurant. The air conditioning in the room was effective and the rooms were cleaned every day. The staff is the bar/restaurant were super friendly and helpful.

Cons: The continental breakfast that was included was nice but exactly the same everyday so some variety would have been nice. The hotel is on a steep hill and there was no help to get our cases up and down the steps to our room.

Lovely place, great views and facilities. Rooms were great. Would def stay again.

Pros: Really nice boutique hotel. The staff were friendly, the pool area was lovely and there was a great view. Overall excellent.

Cons: A bit of a walk from the beach - no issue. Pool bar closed quite early.

Pros: An amazing view from the terrace and from the pool area. Friendly staff.

Pros: Accomodation was excellent - great location, great balcony with view and the rooms were very nice and comfortable! They kindly upgraded us when we arrived which was a nice surprise!

Cons: Only thing that could be improved was the included breakfast could have a larger variety of food i.e include eggs and bacon etc

A really good place to stay with amazing sunset views!

Pros: The Infinity pool with views over the valley to the sea were fantastic. We loved the monkeys swinging in the trees. The staff were great, particularly Albert who worked in the bar, so friendly and so good at making delicious cocktails ! The bed was very comfortable , the best one we slept in in all our accommodations in Costa Rica! It was in a really good location with a supermarket opposite and walking distance to great eating places and a very cheap local bus service to the beach and National Park.

Cons: It is true that our room was slightly dated, but this is reflected in the price that you pay and is more than made up by the fantastic location and outside bar/terrace/pool. We were upgraded to a room with cooking facilities, which was really good for us as we didn’t always want to eat out .

A piece of heaven

Pros: Friendliness of staff. We especially bonded with Ms. Rosa, the lady preparing our breakfast. Thank you Rosa! Position extraordinary with priceless views.

Cons: I have been there about 15 years ago and compared to then, I think it could need a bit of a brush-up.

Great sea views and pool. Comfortable rooms.

Pros: Fantastic sea views. Loved the infinity pool and happy hour. Comfortable rooms and friendly staff.

Pros: Incredible pool overlooking the ocean. Near to restaurants and bars. Loads of animals around. Highly recommend
