Green Sanctuary Hotel

Pros: The best breakfast that we had in Costa Rica! Staff really friendly! The room was great, and the bathroom was great! It was a walking distance from the beach, around 10 minutes. We loved Nosara! Definitely will come back!

Pros: Cozy, clean, close to the surfing area (11 mins walk), there is also a surf shop on the way to the beach where you can rent surf boards. Loads of wildlife in the area (I did see coati, howler monkeys and raccoons and an armadillo right within the accommodation area)

Cons: The location is not the best if you are not driving (35 mins walk to the nearest tiny grocery shop/ATM and the main area with restaurants). There are a couple of restaurants in the closer vicinity but they are rather posh/expensive. The entire village is very expensive loaded with fancy huge villas making Nosara a very expensive place though it is, of course, not the accommodation fault

Pros: Very nice container and great facilities. Good breakfast.

Cons: Bumpy road, make sure to have a 4x4.

Pros: Great place. Unique. Close to beach. Definitely would come again. Breakfast was delicious with lots to eat.

Green Sanctuary was a great place to veg after the yoga retreat

Pros: Loved the breakfast choices. The fresh fruit and juice were delicious. Perfect location for the beach and walking into town. The staff was accommodating and friendly. Enjoyed talking to the owner's son.

Cons: The screen door needs fixing. There was a gap when it was closed.

Pros: The communication prior to our arrival was excellent. The staff was helpful upon our arrival. The room/container was very clean, with a nice bathroom. The room was very minimal but comfortable with a double bed and a single bed. The AC worked well. The breakfast truly was delicious, I still think about that fruit juice! The lady who cooked it was welcoming and took my milk allergy seriously. Heads up: if you need plant milk, bring your own, they don't have any. Finally, we asked for a slightly later check out, which was not a problem. Overall, a nice, clean, simple, and unpretentious place.

Cons: The single bed was quite uncomfortable as in you feel the springs uncomfortable.

Good Value for your money for sure

Pros: Pastoral and quiet place up the hill. You can walk to the beach/center during daylight (10-15 minutes to the beach, a little longer to restaurants/bars/coffee shops etc. could be even 30 minutes). Breakfast was nice and included in the price. Staff is helpful with whatever you need.

Cons: The room was a little smaller than I expected, but enough room for one person, functional but nothing more than that. It’s not very close to the center and you can’t walk from there at night time.

A very lovely and welcoming place!

Pros: Fantastic breakfast, lovingly prepared every morning and very plentiful. The pool is nice and cool, clean and located under the tree canapés. The owners are very welcoming and offer a laundry service which is very clean. The room was cleaned every day. Just a lovely place with a good vibe.

Cons: Nothing not to like about this place!
