Cafe Playa Negra Hotel

beautiful hotel, second time we stayed here!

Pros: this was our second time staying at this property and it did not disappoint. the room is WONDERFUL! comfortable, king size bed, lots of space for stuff, in-room safe, big bathroom with hot water when you want it. the suites have this super comfortable swing/chair which is great if you want to read or relax. the pool and day beds are lovely. everyone at the hotel and restaurant is super attentive. we surf, so we like being in between Playa Avellanas and Junquillal.

Cons: we'd love to be able to turn the lights on/off on the easement from the gate to the room and the entry way to the outdoor area in the evening. i think there is a way, but we always forget to ask the front desk in the morning because we leave at first light to surf. there are some other restaurants and cafes within walking distance, but not as many as playa avellanas.

Pros: Buen desayuno y a pocos minutos de la playa. Buena atención en el restaurante y no tanto en el check inn.

Cons: Parqueo muy incómodo para carro grande. Piscina, es como un adorno, oculta y sin un rayo de luz. Check inn como quien no quiere que te quedes hospedado y cero ayuda con las maletas. Mala recomendación de platillo en el restaurante implicó dejar la comida completa.

Pros: We had a great day at the café Playa Negra Hotel. It is a small boutique hotel and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is excellent. It was our second visit and we will definitely come again.

What a wonderful stay!

Pros: My husband and I had the BEST time here. The room was perfect for two people and the hotel provides shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, and there was air conditioning and a ceiling fan. We loved that there was breakfast included and a bar and restaurant on site. There was a well maintained pool in their beautiful outdoor space, a even a little boutique! The staff was so attentive, friendly, and accommodating. Walking distance from the beach, but we drove there and it took about 2 minutes. Highly recommend staying here if you're going to Playa Negra!

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: Väldigt vänlig och trevlig personal. Snyggt och fräscht och en mycket bra restaurang.

Cons: Vägarna i omgivningen var inte helt ok.

Génial, triste de repartir!

Pros: Le lieu est vraiment top (jardin entretenu, piscine, bar extérieur, musique d’ambiance) Le personnel était adorable, absolument rien à reprocher! Nixon a été au petit soin dans son service avec nous! La nourriture était très bonne comparé à certains endroits qu’on a pu faire, les prix sont corrects! Présence d’un groupe de musique qui ramène un côté chaleureux! On avait prit une suite spacieuse avec une terrasse, on a pas regretté notre choix

Cons: Malheureusement le lieu est très poussiéreux du à la route absolument chaotique devant, mais cela ne concerne pas l’hôtel, à prévoir, 40 minutes de route vers tamarindo, mais on s’habitue 🤣 Encore merci au personnel!

Pros: Das Team hat uns herzlich empfangen, haben gutes Essen geniessen dürfen, das Hotel ist modern in der Ausstattung, die Zimmer täglich gereinigt. Wir kommen zurück. Danke für Alles.

Perfect!

Pros: Everything! The rooms are perfect, the staff is lovely and the breakfast is one of the best we had. We kept on lengthening our stay because we loved it so much.

Cons: Una della camere si trova sotto i motori dei condizionatori e il rumore può essere molto forte.
