Hotel Tropico Latino

Great location but a bit 'tired' for the price.

Pros: The hotel is right on the beach, very friendly and helpful reception, easy parking close to the room (maybe because hotel was not full). All the staff were friendly and breakfast was decent although perhaps a bit limited (only one cup of coffee included !) . Good choice of reasonable restaurants within walking distance.

Cons: The room was huge but more like a motel than a beach hotel in terms of decor. It was a fair walk through the property to the beach/restaurant/pool and it was close to the road. There were some cabins along the path to the beach which looked more in line with the jungly/beach atmosphere. We visited 2nd half November and the rainy season had finished (as is normal) yet the hotel (and 2 others we stayed at in Costa Rica) seemed pretty empty, in spite of the perfect weather. I was told it was the shoulder season yet the prices here (and elsewhere in coastal Costa Rica) seemed very much high season.

Really good value for money!

Pros: Best value for money you will find in Santa Teresa. Tropico Latino is an excellent beachfront hotel that offers breakfast at the beach restaurant. They are always doing the little extras to make you happy. The staff is so friendly, thanks to Guadalupe and Andreas from the reception and all the waiters at the restaurant. The food is excellent. The room was so spacious, with a comfortable bed and pillow (!!). For some reason, most hotels have horrible pillows, but here they were great. Yoga and training offers and facilities are so great!

Cons: Sometimes, the instructor did not show up for the training - but I guess it's not the hotel's fault. Everything was great!

Pros: Loved the beautiful gardens , monkeys , food , restaurant, kind staff and sea side location.

Cons: The bed wasn't good enough and the internet routers need to be better and more of them especially at the restaurant

Ocean pacific relax

Pros: The best structure to welcome you in Costa Rica upon your arrival where spending 5 days in complete relaxation is automatic. Pacific Ocean welcomes you with its waves for guaranteed fun. Breakfast by the ocean ... wellness by the sea ... great. I suggest a Thai massage to recover the parts of the body that sometimes you forget to have

Cons: And that sound of the waves that accompanies you for a long time can be liked or not ... it kept me company a lot especially when you fall asleep

Pros: Staff was accommodating and friendly! Location was perfect! included breakfast was good, views of the ocean, rooms were decent.. could use updating. Yoga was amazing, spa right there. Walking distance to all restaurants and shopping. Beautiful amenities( spa, pool, restaurant, sittting , hammocks, yoga) .

Cons: Wi-Fi did not work well, which is tough if you’re working remote from there and rooms could be a bit updated. They also only give you one tiny bottle of water in the room to refill with their purified water. They should give at least 2 because we constantly were refilling.

an unforgettable experience right on the best beach

Pros: it took us a few hours to get used to this property as it was our first ‘jungle’ experience. the spacious room was furnished with dark wood and it looked a bit spooky to us. however we quickly got used to our bungalow and really loved our stay here. the small kitchen are was appreciated as we could make our our breakfast, tea and coffee. the small grocery shop is just opposite the hotel, it’s very handy. the situation is exceptional- right on the longest stretch of silky smooth beach imaginable, with surfers to admire. I loved the daily yoga sessions right on the ocean, the teachers were excellent and kind. all in all we highly recommend this hotel to other travellers

Cons: the rooms are a tad outdated

Pros: A localização é ótima, o hotel é na beira da praia, tem estrutura de praia para tomar sol, ondas para surf quase em frente, o restaurante é muito bom com o café da manhã muito bem servido na beira da praia. Durante a estadia vimos muitos pássaros, macacos e esquilos pelos caminhos do hotel, uma maravilhosa experiência! A piacina tem vista pra praia, o quarto é grande e os funcionários muito atenciosos! Adoramos!

Cons: Tivemos problema com o chuveiro, que ficava frio no meio do banho, e demoraram uns dias para consertar. Mas como o lugar é quente, não nos importamos de tomar o banho frio.

Maravilhoso

Pros: O lugar é lindo, muita natureza, os quartos são grandes. Todos funcionários são maravilhosos.

Cons: É um pouco escura, a piscina poderia ser aquecida, muitas vezes a água estava muito gelada.

Amazing hotel on the beach with yoga

Pros: Amazing hotel. Absolutely amazing people work there. Sunsets, restaurant, hammocks, yoga. Rooms types are different. Was good value for money for that period of time.

Cons: I can’t tell that I didn’t really like anything.

Traumhaft!

Pros: Die Lage und die Atmosphäre sind fantastisch. Wir haben es geliebt! Der Yoga Unterricht ist anspruchsvoll und sehr gut.

Cons: Wie häufig in sehr heißen Ländern sind die Zimmer extrem dunkel. Man findet im Kleiderschrank nichts ohne Taschenlampe😄
