Tamarindo Bay Boutique Hotel

Great stay!

Pros: Everything, from comfortable bed and lovely garden&pool to the smart workout corner, refillable bottle and water and repellent station to the housewoodpecker and friendly and relaxed personel. This place to us felt like affordable luxury :D

Cons: Leaving :) Not finding many places like this in other parts of costa rica (or you have to pay $$$$$$)

Modern, spacious, clean and welcoming. Superior facilities and excellent staff.

Pros: The location was excellent. Close enough for an easy stroll to shops, restaurants, bakeries, cafes and the beach yet far away enough to be quiet and relaxing. The property is exceptional. Clean, modern, spacious, high quality fittings and decor, the bed was very comfortable and having a kitchenette allowed for preparing your own meals. Marie and her staff were outstanding.

Cons: Nada; everything was perfect!

A beautiful and peaceful stay in the perfect location

Pros: I absolutely loved staying here, I didn’t want to leave, I felt so at home. It’s such an amazingly peaceful spot, yet it’s also so very close to downtown and everything to see and do in Tamarindo (including a <10 minute walk to the beach.) The room was very clean and had everything you need, including extra nice touches like coffee being provided and proper dishes and glassware. The bed was comfy, the a/c was reliable and powerful, and the bathroom was nice too. The property itself is also stunning - both pools are beautiful, and there are nice design touches everywhere you look. And the team there is incredible, they helped answer any questions I had, made sure I had whatever I needed, and helped me arrange things like transportation too. I truly can’t say enough about this place, I’d stay again in a heartbeat and won’t bother looking anywhere else next time I’m in Tamarindo.

Cons: I can’t think of any improvements to be honest - they’ve thought of everything and more.

Great hotel for 4 days stay, close to Tamarindo beaches.

Pros: Nice hotel, only 5 min. walk to the Beach and restaurants. Very nice staff ! Great breakfast. Nice pool area. Quite and relaxing place.

Pros: The breakfast was lovely and Marie approached me every single morning to check in with me if everything was accommodating. This personal touch worked wonders. She was absolutely wonderful! The room was great, spacious and clean.

Cons: The noise was exceptionally awful. The walls are thin and I could hear the tv of next door neighbours late at night. So as the music from bars until at least 2 am. I couldn’t sleep on any given night sadly

Fabulous grown up oasis amidst the chaos

Pros: Just about everything! A real oasis of calm in the chaos of Tamarindo Bay on Easter weekend! The place was PACKED, but this gem of a hotel was all calmness and quietness. Very beautifully designed but not imposing in any way. It was also nice to have a couple of nights without any children around! Breakfasts were gorgeous, the pool area truly delightfully, and the room very well appointed, super comfortable and super clean

Cons: Our only “gripe” if we could call it that, was our room in that it was once the owner’s private apartment so that meant it was tucked away round the back beside the laundry. So we had no real daylight and no balcony or outdoor space. HOWEVER, the room was also much bigger than the others with a separate kitchenette, and proper dressing room, AND as we booked at the last minute, we were just delighted to get a room at all! Other than that, we could not fault this place and would return in a heartbeat

Lovely place but hard bed

Pros: Beautiful place overall. Nice communual outside space to sit and in front of room. Short walk to town and beach. Good breakfast. English manageress helpful

Cons: Bed was very, very hard. No door to toilet cubicle just one to the whole dressing, bathroom area so to get to shower, sinks have to walk past open toilet

Great place to stay

Pros: This was a great location just off the main drag but very quiet. Maria was brilliant breakfast was excellent. The pool area was very relaxing nice to have a beer and read a book before exiting down to the beach. The room was large with plenty of space.

Cons: The room was a bit tucked away and not a lot of natural light.
