Amazing modern place with great staff at a short walk from downtown.

Pros: We stayed for about a week in the new part of the hotel and everything was amazing! We really enjoyed the hotel’s modern facilities, great services (e.g. daily cleaning, parking, coffee machine in the room, a common gym etc). It is placed at a 10 min walk from Tamarindo’s center and the rooms are clean and big, and the staff is very friendly and polite. So we definitely recommend it.

Pros: This place was very cute, reminded me of greece style vibes and also very spacious. Location was perfect, few minute walk to the center but also far enough to not hear road noise at night. Manager and staff were very kind! Breakfast was very good. Thank you!

Pros: This is one of the hotels in Costa Rica I would happily book again on my next visit. Despite Tamarindo being quite noisy, the hotel is in a peaceful area, the staff is genuinely kind, and the breakfast is absolutely delicious

Pros: This was our first time in Costa Rica, and we stayed at the wonderful La Ramona Hotel. We were in the new part of the hotel, and everything was excellent — the room, the facilities, and the overall atmosphere. Special thanks to the manager, Pavel, who was very attentive and always ready to help. The breakfast was great, and there is even a small gym, which was a nice bonus. Unlike many other hotels, this place has hot water, which really mattered. We also recommend booking excursions in advance — Pavel helps choose the best options. We will definitely come back. Pura Vida!

Pros: Excellent hotel! Very clean and well maintained, the room was comfortable and peaceful. Breakfast had a good variety, everything was fresh and tasty. The hotel is very quiet, perfect for relaxing. There is a large swimming pool with clean water and a private gym, which was a great bonus. The bed linen is of excellent quality, making sleep very comfortable. The hosts are extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Pros: very caring owners!! They helped us with our shuttles and made phone calls for us. You will get fresh and selfmade breakfast every morning with fresh fruits and eggs. very spacious and clean rooms and the owners were always available for help! The rooms were full of little details and very modern und nice design! i loved the outdoor shower and bathtub it was such a unique experience!

Cons: we had a room close to the pool so there were apparently a lot of ants and some spiders in our room, but that’s normal and has nothing to do with the owners! It’s also a little far from the beach but therefore really quiet. Would only improve to have more than just 1 cup of coffee for breakfast or a variety of breakfast choices to eat as we had in other hotels. Besides that it was amazing! 10/10 recommend La Ramona in Tamarindo!

Pros: First time in Tamarindo and definitely not the last! La Ramona Hotel is a full 5 stars. Everything looks just like in the photos. There’s a great small gym, which is more than enough for a vacation. The bedding and the bed are perfect, 10/10. I stayed in the new part of the hotel. The owner, Pavel, helps with any questions and is always on-site, unlike other hotels. The paid breakfast is just amazing! It costs only $10, and you won’t find such a breakfast for that price anywhere in the center. There’s always hot water, and it’s very quiet! The balcony views are wonderful. I will definitely come back.
