Charming and comfy apartment

Pros: Super cute, cosy, comfy, clean hotel. The room I had was very spacious and the bathroom is such an amazing feature. It feels like you are in the Costa Rican jungle while being 5 minutes from town. Lovely staff and the pool was gorgeous. Very intimate and sweet hotel.

Cute, well priced friendly

Pros: Run by a family, cosy, with roundhouse suites and aircon, this is a great hide out off the beaten track.

Cons: Unmade Road to the beach tough on your ankles.

Pros: Spacious and comfortable. Very clean. Nice and helpful staff!

Pros: Good location as short walk to town but nice and quiet. All staff really helpful, with roomy accommodation with good facilities.

Cons: Can’t fault anything.

Pros: The honour system bar, the room with private terrace, kitchenette and a huge bathroom, the pool upkeep, the friendly hosts, the free breakfast! The groundskeeper sweeping up before we awoke! The other guests mingling over breakfast. Also liked that our hosts were happy to arrange tours and our shuttles from and back to the airport.

Cons: The location up from the main drag. The roads are a bit treacherous (I fell twice slipping off the sloped edge). (Of course, it's still not a far walk to the beach, but far enough that the black Voldemort birds didn't wake us.)

Charming peaceful hotel on the outskirts of Tamarindo.

Pros: This hotel was excellent for our family of 5. We enjoyed being able to walk to the main town of Tamarindo and the beach (approximately 20 minute walk). The town and beach are somewhat busy which made us appreciate even more the quiet location of the hotel. The property is small but well maintained and clean. We enjoyed our breakfasts at the hotel as well as lounging around the pool. Also while not necessary in this area we rented a car and were able to park outside the hotel without difficulty.

Cons: I have no complaints. We liked the location as it was quiet and peaceful. However it wouldn’t be the best choice for someone who is adverse to either walking 15- 20 minutes in hilly terrain or taking a taxi to the town or beach.

We would stay here again and recommend it to others.

Pros: Staff were very polite and helpful. It’s 500 metres from downtown Tamarindo which is the right distance from the noise. Breakfast was great. Everyone felt like family.

Cons: The uneven and amount of stairs to the highest rooms. A person with disabilities should book a lower room.

Pros: Breakfast was excellent and nice that it differed each day. Room was clean and well appointed. 5 min walk to some restaurants and about 15 to the beach - very reasonable.

Cons: Photos showed a kitchen but our room did not have one.
