Hotel Uvita Forest

Great location for what Uvita has to offer.

Pros: Clean modern hotel in a good location. Rooms were well kept and shower worked nicely. Good food and drink options near by and walking distance to Uvita waterfall. Communication via Whatsap before and during our stay was excellent. Pool was nice but the area around it was limited so when more guests arrive it does feel cramped. On quieter evenings it could be a lovely place to chill out.

Cons: Noisy. For two reasons, one we were there at the same time as families and the youngsters were noisy around the pool. Not their fault but did make it awkward. Also you are next door to a food court who on the second night were playing a Disney film very loudly. Also on our second night a thunderstorm blow out the electricity so we had no lights or AC for most of the evening. Obviously these issues are beyond the control of the hotel but it did not make our stay enjoyable.

Pros: I had an absolutely wonderful experience at The Forest Uvita. It’s rare in Costa Rica to find a place that is this clean and modern—everything felt fresh, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The air conditioning worked perfectly (a huge plus in this climate!), and the whole space felt comfortable and welcoming. The staff were genuinely kind and helpful, creating a warm atmosphere from the moment I arrived.

Cons: The Hotel is a little bit far away from the beach, but with a car or taxi/uber it is good manageable.

Pros: Clean and modern new hotel with good facilities. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurants and super markets are close by.

Cons: Gastropark next to the hotel was a bit noisy playing music the first night, but seemed to turn it down the next couple of nights. Mattress was a bit too hard for our taste.

Excellent hotel in Uvita

Pros: This is an excellent place! We stayed here on our way to Corcovado National Park and Iiked it so much that we actually returned on our way back. The rooms are modern, very comfortable and very clean, there was a pool and the staff are excellent. It is only 15 minutes driving to Marino Balleno National Park with its fantastic beaches and forest. There are many good restaurants in this town as well and a café in walking distance.

Very good hotel in Uvita.

Pros: This is a new place, nice rooms and a pool in the middle of the backyard. Very nice staff, very clean, we got a good recommendation for dinner and would definitely come again.

Pros: The place was spotless The staff was very friendly The room and bathroom looked fantastic

Cons: Location

Pros: Newly built, very modern. 2 large beds which were comfortable

Cons: Locked gates, which is lovely for security, however we had arranged to leave early on our last day and the guy had overslept, we had to make phone calls to the owner to open the gates. Would still stay here again though
