Pros: It’s a very beautiful place !! The rooms are basic but have everything you need for a short stay. There is a kitchen where we could cook and nice tables to sit outside. The big garden is just beautiful, we could see so many birds and a sloth right up in the trees in the garden (mama and baby sloth!!) the breakfast was delicious and the owners are super nice and helpful. There are hammocks to chill outside as well.

Best posada in Costa Rica

Pros: This was our favorite stay after traveling Costa Rica. Book the accommodation. We saw sloths, toucans, squirrels and many other birds inside the property. It's clean. Has a kitchen with everything you need. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Love love love

Pros: The owner was very kind, he let me check in 3h early! The son of the owner showed me the sloth that live on their property. It's a very small and rural place that make you feel like home. Recommend it 100% !

Cons: There is no hot water but, you know, costa rica, la pura vida! I didn't mind but it may be worth mentionning

Pros: Family running the business is absolutely wonderful. The son gave us fresh coconut from their tree. We never had such a good coconut water and the rest in our entire life. Breakfast prepared by the husband and wife was done to a perfection.

Cons: Our water was cold under the shower but the owner fixed it. Something not done right because the brakes kept popping.

Pros: Owner was very nice and relaxed. The place is extremely quiet and pretty. Has a sloth family living in the premises and a little path among the trees with a creek. Had a couple hammock beds as well

Cons: The electrical shower head needs to be isolated as has a bit of electrical current. Loads of light coming in in the morning name it hard to sleep in

Pros: Marvin, the owner was amazing. So welcoming and found the sloths for us on both days. You could really tell he cares. The gardens were lovely. The place was spotless. Comfy beds and plenty of space. Wfi in room. 2 fans. Even 2 hangers... which seems to be a rare thing in Costa Rica! Great position for exploring the area and the waterfall.

Pros: The welcome was warm, and the place itself is really well cared for, with lovely grounds and a tidy, inviting layout. Our room was spacious, spotless, and came with a private covered patio — perfect for relaxing. The bathroom was a good size too, with a larger-than-average shower, proper hot water, and decent pressure (not always a given in Costa Rica!). AC worked perfectly. The manager went above and beyond — even driving us to a local restaurant when torrential rain made walking impossible. Seriously appreciated. All in all, the posada itself is excellent. I'd stay here again without hesitation.
