Embrace the adventure of glamping on the side of an active volcano

Pros: Embrace the adventure!! We were delighted to stay here there was a home cooked meal available which we chose from a menu and coke and beers available too View overlooking hills towards a farm, it was very cold there were extra blankets on the bed and you could pay extra for a heater but make sure to bring warm clothes, its very rustic but that is all part of the adventure! People were so welcoming, I would absolutely stay again

A fun stay with caring hosts in an excellent location.

Pros: We loved the novelty of glamping in a pod. The owner had done everything possible to make it attractive and cosy. The location within 10 minutes drive of Poas Volcano National Park was excellent.

If you love to camp or glamp - this is your place

Pros: The very friendly family that owns this place clearly put loads of love in their glamping. The domes are amazing, but also the grounds are fantastic and well maintained. What stood out for me though is the hospitality of Eric and his wife and daughter who served a lovely dinner and breakfast the next morning for our family. So everything was perfect!

Glamping in the clouds

Pros: I loved the location, the glamping pods and the garden. The pods had great facilities and lots of lovely warm blankets to keep us cosy on the cold Poas nights. I enjoyed a morning walk along the trail, listening to the birds among the dewy plants. The first night we went out for dinner and saw an armadillo in the garden. The bed was big and comfy and I had a great nights sleep. It rained for much of our stay - just drizzly rain - but that is to be expected in a cloud forest.

Great experience for a short stay

Pros: It was a very unique experience. The location was excellent, walkable distance to the top of the volcano (although it's a fair hike up). Nice view out. Pick nick area with a fire pit. Really cute and pretty ground and pod decoration. Smart TV is a good add. It is a high up location and is very cold overnight. We were prepared with thermals and hot water bottle, had plenty of hot drinks with their coffee machine and we were fine. You can also rend a heater for $5. Also being a camping site, toilets in the pods are a bit basic and easily blocked. It was a great experience for a short stay.

Pros: Beautiful place located close to the Poás volcano natural park.

Cons: There were 3 of us in one room. It is a small place for 3 adults. It's also a bit cold inside the room, but fortunately, there were enough bed blankets to be warm enough. You can also rent a small heater.
