Pros: The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was very clean. The location is perfect between the Volcano and the La Paz Waterfall gardens, next to the one of the best restaurateurs.

Cons: Don’t speak English. I would be nice to have a window in front of the bed, but it is ok.

Very nice

Pros: Lovely, comfortable room with a great view. 10min drive from Volcan Poas NP (book volcano visit online in advance). Extra blanket and heater in the room were welcome! Great restaurant downstairs and very helpful staff

Cons: The restaurant was freezing, diners were wrapped in blankets!

Perfect for Poas Volcano

Pros: Great location 10 minutes drive from Poas Volcano. Massive room with huge super king bed and scorching hot shower - both massively appreciated after two weeks of small beds and cold showers! Mega friendly staff, free parking. And check out at 12 which was great as I could visit volcano and pack after

Pros: Lovely place. This hotel is quite simple but has all the necessary things needed for a nice short stay. The location is perfect if you plan to visit the Poas volcano and the waterfalls nearby.

Pros: I really glad about staying in La Paz Hotel. Extremely clean, everything what we needed, if it is cold in the night there is heater working very well. If we will be close to Vulcano Poas we stay for sure once more

Pros: Amit the owner always had a moment to chat and show us around the property. There are animals to watch right outside the cabins: turtles, hummingbirds, dogs, ... Delicious breakfast served in the restaurant, friendly staff all around. We stayed with two little kids and had a very good time.

Pros: This was the first accommodation I stayed in when I arrived in Costa rica as a solo traveller. The owner and staff were so friendly, and smiles a-plenty! We had lots of little chats throughout my stay and they were so welcoming and helpful! I actually extended my stay because it was such a lovely place! The food in the restaurant was delicious and really reasonably priced. The room was so cosy and had a lovely little electric fire for the colder nights. The bed and pillows were really comfortable and the shower was amazing! Really quick WiFi which was great for when I was working online. I would highly recommend staying here, would rate higher than 10 if I could! Thanks for such a lovely stay! Shanti
