Casa Jalapa with private pool

We highly recommend it!

Pros: This house is amazing! We are on our 3 weeks long trip around Costa Rica and in Uvita we decided to rest a bit. We booked this house and it was beyond our expectations. It was so hard to leave this place! It’s really peacefull, nice, we love the open floor kitchen, and the hosts are extremely nice.

Unique property with great location

Pros: Very unique and fun open concept. But due to this it was very humid in the kitchen/ living space of course. Excellent communication from the hosts. Very nice people and nice to have laundry on site. Fun little bistro across the street. And only 800m from the beach. We also had lots of attention from the resident cat.

Cons: Could use an extra set of keys so that 2 couples could go on their own adventures and still get back in.

Pros: it was actually hard to leave this place at checkout as it was so nice!! fantastic place for families, as the downstairs area combines cooking, eating and swimming areas (yep that pool is about 3 metres from the stove) all within one small space. so it was great fun to see the kids taking quick dips in between all our other activities. we ended up spending a lot more time in the pool than at the beach as it was oppressively hot. staff/owner are super nice and very attentive. AND it has a washing machine /dryer setup!! totally worth the money.

The prefect casa to end our amazing stay in Costa Rica!

Pros: Beautifully designed casa, comfortable with a sense of luxury. The downstairs outdoor-indoor living area was perfect, with comfortable chairs (we loved both the rocking chairs and the hanging chairs!) and a well designed and equipped kitchen. And the amazing bonus of a pool in the kitchen! Also easy parking. Both bedrooms were very comfortable (and en suites), it was simply perfect for our stay. Would definitely recommend the restaurant over the road (Kinsu). An amazing stay, we felt incredible lucky to have booked this house!

Cons: Slightly sticky padlock on the front gate! But no other worries at all!

Magnifique maison !

Pros: La maison est magnifique, très originale et très confortable, l'accueil est très chaleureux, l'emplacement parfait.

Cons: Il faudrait vérifier les équipements : pas de lave-vaisselle, très peu de couverts, peu de vaisselle.

Pros: Schönes Ambiente, unkomplizierte und sehr nette Kommunikation

Es war ein ruhiger und schöner Aufenthalt!😃

Pros: Privater Pool, offene Küche, coole Zimmer, schöne Badezimmer und es hatte viele Tiere und Vögel.

Cons: Die scharfen Kanten im Pool an denen man sich verletzen konnte.

Excelente casa para vacacionar y salir de la rutina.

Pros: Muy cómoda la casa, las camas muy suaves, habitaciones con baño amplio, en fin uno la pasa muy bien en ella. Excelente ubicación.

Cons: Nada.

Hermosa casa con piscina privada

Pros: Nos alojamos con nuestros hijos y el lugar hermoso, limpio y tiene todo lo necesario para estar cómodos, disfrutar de la piscina privada, las habitaciones grandes y con baño grande y cómodo. Alejada del ruido y muy cerca de las playas y restaurantes! Nos encantó y disfrutamos muchísimo nuestro viaje.

Excellent property for the price!

Pros: The house was very clean and comfortable, but there is room for improvement. The staff was very accommodating and quick to respond to all questions. I do have a suggestion of an improvement regarding the kitchen essentials such as a real functioning spatula as well as pot holders. The pool is super ice cold and can honestly use a small warmer. The water was not tolerable being below 70° even with the intense heat of Uvita. I find the property to be a great price and location. I do recommend this rental to future guest. We would be returning for another stay if the pool and kitchen met our expectations. The only other suggestion would be to offer other forms of paying besides PayPal or cash.
