Amazing location in the middle of the jungle

Pros: Wonderful location and view. You get all the sounds from the jungle which one would expect. Access can be a challenge but that's part of the package and 'enjoyment'. Matthew who made us feel very welcome does state this very clearly so nothing to complaint about. View from our room was amazing, lovely swimming pool, we really enjoyed our stay.

Cons: Kitchen cupboards were a little tired but not a massive issue.

Pros: Very peaceful, attractive location in the jungle with well appointed and comfortable accommodation and seating areas on the verandah. The pool was really nice. Matthew was friendly and helpful.

A beautiful retreat where you can completely relax and re-charge

Pros: It was like being in your own little jungle retreat. Mat was very friendly and helpful right from the beginning and if there was a small issue he attended to it immediately. The garen had a path all the way around, but there was a lot of different birds in the trees and beautiful plants - it was like having your own mini national park outside your front door! The pool was great and lit at night so you could stay here all evening. The stay was great value too. There were supermarkets not far away and there was parking outside the property. The bed was very comfortable and there was a good amount of storage for belongings. Towels were lovely quality and even swimming towels were provided. Kitchen equipment was good too and there was another kitchen by the pool. We would have loved to stay longer here and would certainly like to go back. It is a real retreat and a very special place. Cons: Anyone visiting needs to take notice that there is a very steep unmade road to get to the property. Mat does make you fully aware of this, but you really do need a 4 x 4 as we did. To get to a restaurant you would really need to drive or get transport - however it was so lovely that we stayed on site for meals. Some of the pool furnishings were showing their age and needed renewing or re-covering. The cupboards of the outdoor kitchens needed re-varnishing. There were thick voile curtains over the window infront of the bed, leading onto the patio and we would have prefered a full curtain as an extra option to give more privacy. Our cabina did not have a table and chairs, so we had to carry our things down to the pool to eat and the path was dark, although you could turn on lights in the pool area and there were two large tables there and one was undercover. The sloping path would have been difficult, whilst carrying things down there if it was raining. I believe at least one of the other cabinas do have table and chairs. There are 3 Cabinas (studio apartments) and we only had one other occupied when we were there. The other couple were quiet and very like minded. Pool, garden and outdoor kitchen areas are shared and this was no problem for us. If you had been sharing the grounds with people who were not like minded it could have been awkward. Don't let these things put you off - we had a wonderful stay!

Cons: Nothing. All is fantastic.

Pros: Unbelievable host; he was very kind. When the lock on our cabin broke, he upgraded us to a better cabin. The view and pool are stunning; you can see the sun setting over the sea from the middle of the jungle, where the cabins are located. The rooms are beautiful, in my opinion, and the patio is very nice. Only advice: a 4x4 car is mandatory if you want to stay at this facility. I would recommend this stay.

Little paradise

Pros: Absolutely wondefull. The outside livingroom was very comfy, great seats and a lovely swimming Pool. The only negative we could think of was that we only stayed 2 nights.

Exceptionnal !

Pros: The cabana was gorgeous, the terrace and views were breathtaking and I really enjoyed hanging out by the pool. Matthew was very welcoming, discrete and went out of his way to make my stay memorable.

Quiet, Private, in the Mountains

Pros: Matt was extremely helpful and responsive. He provided answers and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The pool was great! At night there's a nice breeze if you leave all the windows open. We saw Toucans building a nest and discovered a hidden waterfall. Make.sure you have a 4x4!!!

Cons: I wouldn't say there was anything we didn't like. The cabana had everything we needed. That said, the property is starting to show its age.
