Casa Oh - Oceanview Guesthouse

Pros: From start to finish, this was an incredible stay. Dinah and Toubi are so welcoming and kind - it felt like we had come to visit old friends. The space itself is comfortable and relaxed, but also stylish and refined. It isn’t a large place but there are shared spaces so you can get to know other travellers, which made it feel like a community. Watching the sunset and seeing howler monkeys move through the trees were highlights of our trip. Breakfast was perfect and worth the money. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Cons: Since we didn’t have a car, it would have been nice to have some snacks and drinks available to pay for, as the nearest shops were a while away. However, we knew that this was the case and this did not take away from our experience!

Very relaxed, friendly and convenient stop off on way south. Wished we had more time there.

Amazing Stay

Pros: Tucked in nature, it has an amazing view on the jungle and the beach down the hill. The owners are super nice and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Great place with a relaxed atmosphere

Pros: Casa Oh has a beautiful sea and jungle view from its terrace. You can spot monkeys and birds from the terrace. The rooms are very clean and you have a common space for tea and coffee. The atmosphere is relaxed and Dinah and Toubi are great hosts

Amazing stay with Seaview

Pros: Casa Oh was one of the most beautiful accommodations we stayed in during our three-week trip through Costa Rica. We stayed for two days but would loved to stay longer. The location is perfect for exploring the area around Uvita. The breakfast was also fantastic and highly recommended. There's a stunning view of the ocean and the sunset, and you can even spot wildlife from the beautiful setting. We would love to come back again.

Amazing and Lovely place!

Pros: Casa Oh surprised us from the very beginning. It is located between Dominical and Uvita, so if you are planning to surf in Dominicalito, it’s a great choice! We were welcomed by Toubi and Dinah with a fresh local juice while enjoying the amazing ocean view they have. Breakfast is offered separately from the stay, but it is a must! Local and fresh ingredients, plus an amazing focaccia and ginger bread. We stayed only two nights, but it was enough to make us wish we could have stayed longer. The couple has a great vibe and made us feel at home the whole time, showing us the incredible nature surrounding their place. Thank you so much, Toubi and Dinah. A home away from home

Pros: When travelling through Uvita, the only place you want to stay at, is Casa Oh. Toubi and Dinah have built a house with heart, and you’ll definitely feel it. The house is amazing. Super cosy, extremely neat and a STUNNING view. But the real gem are the hosts. You’ll never feel more at home. Our favorite stop in our Costa Rica journey.

Truly amazing

Pros: We highly recommend this place! We absolutely loved the location—just a short drive to some beautiful beaches (the closest one Playa Hermosa was 3 min away). The views were incredible, especially from the large terrace in the common area. The room was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the option of having breakfast. One of the highlights for us was being so close to nature—we saw monkeys, toucans, and a variety of birds right from the property. The room itself is quite small, so keep that in mind when booking, but it didn’t bother us at all. The hosts were great and the communication with them was really easy and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Pros: Great for seeing animals and the breakfast was lovely. Tobi and Dinah were very welcoming.

Utterly relaxing- thoroughly recommended

Pros: Fantastic lodge with beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean over Playa Hermosa. The gardens, lovingly tended by Toubi, contain many huge trees, mostly native. This makes the large shared veranda the perfect place to do a bit of bird watching- we saw scarlet macaws, several species of parrots, toucans, motmots and so much more, often within metres of our vantage point. And being woken up by nearby howler monkeys is always special. Toubi was always keen to show us some of the less glamorous critters- beetles, bees, ants, frogs and so on. Dinah makes a lovely breakfast- her freshly baked focaccia bread, fresh juices and so on was a great way to start the day. Dinah and Toubi couldn’t do enough to help us and make our stay so memorable. Thoroughly recommended.

Cons: Room a little small, but huge shared veranda compensated. Lots of hooks and several shelves for clothes (unusual for CR) helped maximise the space
