Rafiki Beach Camp

This is paradise!

Pros: Located right by pristine beach Spacious tent, huge bathroom Lovely pool Best host ever, Alex, who knows all the sloth's living places

A most relaxing venue in a stunning location with easy access to beach and sea.

Pros: The fantastic location adjacent to the beach meant that we could hear the sound of the waves as we fell asleep and as we awoke in the morning. The sunrise and sunset seen from the beach were very special. We had regular visits from a group of white faced capuchin monkeys, saw red macaws, frequent groups of pelicans flying low to the sea and a resident sloth. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This was a perfect end to 18 days in Costa Rica.

Cons: It won’t suit travellers who are expecting hotel facilities but offers everything a discerning visitor could want who is looking for a more authentic experience close to nature away from the trappings of modern life.

Pros: It was fun to stay in this glorified tent, though it was a bit hot. The bathroom was large and very modern. The included breakfast was good, the beach was stunning and the gardens were gorgeous.

Sleep to the sound of the crashing waves, glamping heaven

Pros: Right on the beach but easy living so your tents not full of sand. Quiet, safe parking, little shop and 2 restaurants nearby, great breakfast, very friendly, helpful staff. Sloths and monkeys right outside our door. I walked a mile & a half down the beach and saw nobody.

Cons: Nothing, it was great

Pros: Absolutely loved Rafiki. Amazing setting, lovely accommodation and friendly and welcoming staff. We saw sloths and we're visited for 2 hours by about 20 crazy monkeys. A great experience. Thanks to everyone x

Le meilleur moment de notre voyage

Pros: Magnifique petit hôtel. Alex est très serviable. Il nous a fait découvrir les paresseux et la faune autour de l’hôtel. N’hésitez pas à passer par lui pour la balade dans la mangrove en kayak c’était exceptionnel… la plage est sublime…

Pros: Magnifique plage, si vous aimez le calme. Le gérant Alex nous a proposé 2 tours , magnifique au lever du jour dans la mangrove !

Pros: Ein tolles Gefühl direkt am Strand zu schlafen und den Wellen und den Tiergeräuschen zu lauschen.... Wir konnten eine Faultiermama mit Baby direkt super beobachten. Ein wirklich schöner Ort und ein genialer Strand! Frühstück war gut. Nette Gastgeber
