Highly recommended authentic stay!

Pros: Ernesto runs a comfortable and very welcoming B&B, the comfortable rooms and long wooden terrace make it feel like a small boutique lodge. He is a perfect host helpful and willing to help, the location is ideal for going into Monteverde in the evening. The plentiful birdlife around the house is a bonus.

Cons: Nothing, would happily stay here again. If there was an issue it would be to request bigger bathroom towels!

Great little hotel

Pros: Beautifully presented room, plenty of space for storage. Excellent coffee provided together with coffee machine. Ernesto was very helpful and friendly and would have booked activities for us if we needed. Good breakfast with a choice, prepared freshly. Excellent location, convenient and quiet with a Coati family living outside. We would highly recommend staying here.

Exceptional value!

Pros: Very clean and spacious rooms, just outside of the center of town (5 minutes walking). The parking lot was secured at night and the breakfast on the terrace was very nice! Hot water for the showers and perfect water pressure, everything was very clean. Ernesto was very helpful and nice as well!

Pros: There are a lot of croatis coming during breakfast, together with the view, the experience of the breakfast is cool. It is just above the triangle, very convenient to go anywhere.

Excellent value for money

Pros: Excellent value for money! The photos don’t do justice to the size of the rooms. Bed was super comfortable and a lovely hot shower. Breakfast was brilliant with an excellent view. Location was 5 minute walk from the village. Secure car parking. Can’t fault anything with our stay.

Pros: We stayed at this hotel for one night. We really liked this place. Our room was on the second floor, it was clean, spacious, equipped with everything you need, glass walls and windows made you feel like you were in the middle of nature. We were met by Ernesto, who gave us the best recommendations for our vacation, booked a night tour of the jungle for us. In the morning, while having breakfast, we could watch birds, coati that came right to our terrace. I can definitely recommend this place for a good vacation.
