Wonderful location, birds, staff and Quetzal!

Pros: Great rustic bungalow in quiet forest location with wood burner. A little tricky drive but worth the effort with great staff, wonderful birds and walking tour with Alex. Really good food at Miriam's restaurant also but watch opening times. Highly recommended.

Beautiful setting with the opportunity to see many different types of birds, including the beautiful Quetzal.

Pros: Lovely homely feel to the cabin. In a lovely peaceful location.

Cons: Tricky to work out the hot water.

Cons: The beds are quite hard and the small heater was insufficiënt to warm up the cabin

Birds, Mist and Cloud Mountain Roads

Pros: The cabin was very cozy and with views of the cloud forest from our window. We loved the restaurant for breakfast, especially with the large variety of birds that we could observe while eating. Hummingbirds were coming within a few inches of us at some points.
