Pros: Very cosy place. Really clean and the host absolutely friendly and attentive. The breakfast was delicious. Totally recommendable.

Cons: The railway track is a little too close.

Pros: We had a short but great time. Very well located place, just a couple meters from the Basilic and the center (main square, stores, markets and restaurants), with parking lot. We had a problem with our car on the way and arrived after checkin time, but very well welcomed anyway, they let us use the kitchen because we haven’t eaten for a long time. Amazing breakfast, felt like grandma’s home.

Cons: I wish we could stay more.

If you want to stay in central Cartago then this property offers good value for money.

Pros: Our room was comfortable and spacious. Staff were friendly and breakfast was fine with fruit and then eggs with rice and beans. The property is very close to the centre of town and offered us secure parking.

Great position in Cartago for visiting Irazu Volcano

Pros: Good position for visiting Irazu Volcano, Cartago and the surrounding areas. Easy checkin and good breakfast. Staff tried very hard to make our visit enjoyable.

Pros: The location was perfect! One block from Basilica and restaurants! The home was old but very unique and clean. Breakfast was usually Costa Rica beans rice eggs and fruit… very fresh and good.

Pros: Lovely hotel, very efficiently run, central location and a very good breakfast and great value. Comfortable and clean.

Cons: It didn't bother us, but as some reviewers said, it is close to the railway track but trains don't run at night and start at around 6 am which is a good time to get up in Costa Rica anyway to make the most of the day ahead.
