La montaña siempre verde

Pros: La casa es muy bonita, tiene todo el equipamiento para poder cocinar, las camas cómodas. Internet funciona muy bien. El lugar es muy tranquilo tiene un pequeño sendero que da a una mesa y dos bancos para quedarse ahí, leyendo, o lo que se quiera tranquilamente. Subiendo la cuesta está el pequeño pueblo de La Cruz con un colmado que te saca de un apuro. Los anfitriones estuvieron estupendos, e hicimos varias actividades juntos como ordeñar vacas y hacer queso. Gracias a Carlos y a Ofelia.

Cons: Lo que no me gusta en general en Costa Rica son sus carreteras, hay que invertir más en asfaltar, sobre todo en los pueblos.

Quiet stay with easy car access to town and the reserve.

Pros: Location was bucolic. Outside of the insanity of town, surrounded by jungle. Yet accessible (by car!). House and grounds were really cool; nice big kitchen, nice size bedrooms and bathroom. Clean and comfortable. And the owner even let us “help” to milk his cows!!!!

Cons: Definitely need a car to access the town and the biological reserve. But we had one, so it was totally cool.

Pros: Emplacement génial, dans la montagne tropicale, une autre image du Costa Rica. Les hôtes ont une petite exploitation agricole, les enfants peuvent assister à la traite. Très aimables. Authentique. On y aurait volontiers passé plus de temps. Et la réserve de Santa Elena, toute proche, est merveilleuse

Pros: La amabilidad de nuestra host. Hasta nos invitó a ver el proceso en el que su familia ordeña una vaca para vivir toda la experiencia. El único lugar con muchas toallas, shampoo, acondicionador!

Cons: Fuimos para Navidad y hacía frío, el cobertor era muy grueso, pero no transpiraba, por lo que te hacía sudar mucho, la siguiente noche no usamos el cobertor y listo!

Pros: The house is surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees, very secluded and quiet, but is conveniently located to reach the parks, stores and restaurants. And it’s perfect for a family to stay. Pamela is a wonderful host, she is very informative and helpful. The bonus part is the farm her family owns, we learned how to milk a cow, how to recognize different tropical herbs and trees, and had so much fun to observe the true local life. Pamela’s family is a perfect example of “ Pura vida”. Muchas Gracias!

Naturaleza, aventura, relajamiento y privacidad, con todas las facilidades!

Pros: Casa cómoda y limpia con todas las amenidades en medio de la naturaleza, ideal para relajarse y descansar. Bien ubicada, cerca de centros de aventura y de supermercados, banco y restaurantes.
