We enjoyed our stay 👍👍👍

Pros: We felt comfortable and safe . Staff was great and very accommodating. Loved The community area with pool , Fußball /pool table and ping pong table .

The place is configured to meet and enjoy the company of other guests.

Pros: All cooking tools were available for anything one would desire to cook.

Cons: That I had to leave because I didn't extend my reservation soon enough before a holiday.

Great base for visiting Tamarindo

Pros: Very clean, very friendly, very helpful and great value for money in Tamarindo. A lot of people used the kitchen for cooking but it was extremely well managed. After hours security response was excellent.

Cons: Main issue was that the air con in my room was too strong and cold. However that was probably my fault and I didn't ask for assistance. A brief guide to managing it would have been helpful. That or a blanket.

Pros: Very nice hostel 2 min from the tamarindo beach the kids who working there was great .A nice pool a howling monkeys in the trees you can hear them every morning above your head.

Great stay at Pura Vida

Pros: The staff were unbelievable and the kitchen was really well equipped even with Tupperware! The chill areas were also great to get to know people. Pura Vida 💜

Cons: The bathrooms did not have shelves so it was hard to shower properly.

Amazing value for money, clean and friendly.

Pros: The staff we all very friendly and flexible, and helped us a lot when we were in a pinch. Also, as a smoker in a country that forbids smoking almost anywhere, I was thrilled that the hostel has an area for smoking.

Pros: Great location, like two blocks from the beach. Super clean kitchen and nice pool and common areas

Cons: Most hostels in CR let me check in earlier if they had rooms available, but here they were quite strict with the check in time being at 3pm. Also, you can only stay until a certain time on the day of your check out (I think like 2/3pm?), which is weird for a hostel. They'll also only hold your bags in storage until that time. Also, the room was really overridden by big ants which came out at night, and they only turn on the AC in the evening until early morning, so no way to hang out in the room during the day

Best staff

Pros: Great location, just a stroll from the beach. Staff were very friendly and very helpful, much appreciated. Got a private room and it was very comfortable with Great ac. Saw monkeys, squirrels, iguanas and a racoon there, love all the nature.

Cons: Honesty, nothing negative to say, other than when there was no water for a short time, but I believe that was a city problem, not a hostel problem.

Great stay!

Pros: Love the communal spaces, large kitchen and AC in our room.

Cons: The shower doesn’t have that much pressure and shared bathrooms are always just a bit dirty. The double bed in the private rooms is very small.
