Hotel el Tucan Alajuela

Pros: Peaceful but central location. Very convenient for the International airports. Comfortable room. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good value for money. Tasty breakfast included.

Cons: Everything was of a high standard.

Amazing, helpful, kind staff

Pros: Staff were amazing! One of our children was not well and the lady was so helpful with telling us where the nearest pharmacy and hospital were and finding someone to translate into English for us! She bought us warm blankets straight out of the dryer at night time and was so kind, muchas gracias!! The location is very central to everything. Breakfast was good, enough to fill us up. Beds were comfortable, shower was hot and wifi was decent :)

Cons: Room layout wasn't quite what we were expecting but the beds were comfortable.

Pros: Everything! Bed comfortable and clean room, breakfast in the morning with sweets, toast and marmelade. The owner was really kind, helped me finding a taxi the next day to go to the airport after my taxi reservation canceled on me at last minute. Good location 5 mn by foot from the center. I highly recommend!

Good value near SJO. FULL breakfast.

Pros: Hostess was VERY nice. Breakfast was good. Room was very clean, bed very comfortable. Good value.

Cons: Stayed in room #9. The split AC blew right on the queen bed, with no way to adjust the fan. Spent the night with the bedspread over my head. The remote control didn't work for the TV. I was too tired to ask for new batteries.

Pros: La limpieza y Amabilidad de la Muchacha que nos atendió

Cons: En Realidad todo muy bien

Pros: Le personnel est très sympathique et serviable. L'hôtel est bien situé près d'une place agréable et vivante. La chambre est correcte.

Pros: Friendly staff, convenient location. The staff organized an early morning taxi to the airport. The interior room away from the street noise was nice.

Pros: Es un sitio de paso , sencillo pero con un personal encantador , amables y dispuestas a ayudar y facilitar la estancia .

Quiet clean hotel and great place to stay in Alajuela

Pros: We stayed here before our trip and also the night before our flight home. It was very quiet so we could get some sleep before our flight home. The staff was very good about getting us a cab to the airport. Will stay here again when visiting Alajuela.

Great place when you visit Alajuela

Pros: The location was great walking distance to many restaurants. The room was clean and the staff was attentive. The wifi was good. I would definitely stay here again. The price was good and I felt safe.
