Hotel Casa Tago

Great stay. Very friendly staff. Very good service!

Pros: The host waited even though we arrived really late at night.

Warm and welcoming.

Pros: The staff were exceptionally friendly, the unit was spacious and very clean. The location was ideal for an early morning flight and the taxi driver working for the hotel was punctual and helpful. It was a lovely stay:)

Cons: There was some noise from flights but this did not continue into the night and is to be expected staying so close to the airport.

Pros: Only staryed for a few hours as I had to leave at 3:30 am to catch a fliught but they were helpful getting me a cab and a great spot to stay. Friendly, clean room too.

Reasonable place for a stopover

Pros: We really appreciated being able to check in on the later side. The room was basic but comfortable. Breakfast was served to us in the garden. I mentioned that I was vegetarian and they made me a veggie omelette (as opposed to an omelette with ham).

Cons: I didn't realise at the time, but the amount that we paid in cash for the room was more than what my booking. com reservation said it would be. I chose not to bring it up after the fact.

Pros: Staying was satisfied 🙏🙂 staff members were very friendly. The place was clean. We had also lovely breakfast with lovely service😊

Nice little place for a short stay

Pros: Very good value for money. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nothing fancy but tasty! Overall a very good experience.

Cons: Parking was not simple as we had to park on a secondary parking spot at their location that was narrow, steep and quite small for two cars. Doable but stressful with a rental after a long haul flight

Pros: Really nice private room. Shared toilet clean. Super good customer service and nice breakfast. ATM + supermarkets close by.

Fantastic staff and a lovely homely feel to the place

Pros: It was clean, great location for the airport and town. The breakfast was delicious and the staff could not be more helpful. They helped us out when our transport plans had to change last minute. Amazing

Nice place in downtown Alajuela

Pros: Well located near the airport and the centre of Alajuela, with good value for Costa Rican accomodation. The rooms are a bit basic but ahve everything you could need for a few night's stay.

Cons: The policy around the entry gate was a bit confusing, I got locked in at one point. Any movement in the hallways can be heard in the rooms, especially during early departures.

Pros: It’s clean, staff is nice, and good location for just one night close to the airport.

Cons: It was very cold in the night and just a sheet, but overall a nice place close to the airport. Staff was very sweet. It’s loud from all other rooms you will hear every single word they speak, even from another floor. But for one night close to the airport for this price it’s worth it.
