Great stay!!

Pros: Great place, loved the mini hotspring, and the manager was super friendly and helpful!

Peaceful and serene, surrounded by a big nature reserve . Short walk down to the river.

Pros: The owner met us on site , very helpful . Gave us plenty of hints and tips about the property and surrounding area . Personal thermal plunge pool outside room was a relaxing touch.

Pros: We stayed at Destino for one night and really liked it! The place is surrounded by nature, and on a clear, sunny day, you can see three volcanoes. One of the coolest features of the rooms is that one of the walls is made of natural rock, giving you the feeling of being in a cave - yet everything is modern and well-built. The hosts were very welcoming too. Liz sent us lots of great recommendations for things to do in the area. You can also enjoy an outdoor bath with hot thermal water that comes straight from the ground. The highlight of the property is the cold river, which you can reach within a few minutes. In the Costa Rican heat, swimming in that fresh, flowing water was absolutely amazing. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature and quiet, while still staying in a comfortable and thoughtfully designed house.

Pros: The location is beautiful and being developed in a way that is respectful to the natural environment. The property is large, which allows for a diversity of activities. We hiked to the river, a most peaceful experience. The view from our room was spectacular.

Cons: Amenities like breakfast aren't nearby, however you have a fully equipped kitchen space, so come prepared. Deliveries are available for later in the day.

Amazing place!!

Pros: Our weekend escape to this hotel was a blissful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Nestled within a vast natural landscape, the thermal pool provided a perfect respite, inviting us to unwind and recharge amidst serene surroundings. The hotel's luxurious facilities and comfortable accommodations ensured that every moment was spent in utter relaxation and indulgence. From lazy mornings lounging by the pool to adventurous hikes through the nearby trails, our days were filled with a perfect balance of leisure and exploration. Evenings were a symphony of tranquility, with starlit skies casting a magical glow over the landscape. For anyone seeking a rejuvenating weekend away, this hotel offers an idyllic sanctuary where time seems to stand still, and worries fade away.

Nous étions de passage et avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil, la chambre et les vues panoramiques

Pros: La chambre était super belle, le propriétaire (ou le gérant) était super accueillant et le site avait des vues à couper le souffle. Le rapport qualité prix est bin pour le Costa Rica.

Cons: Nous avons l'impression que le site n'est pas fini fini. Ça semble être un projet ambitieux qui n'est pas tout à fait terminé. Ne vous attendez pas à y séjourner 5-6 jours comme dans un resort bien rodé.

Pros: The place is very unique. The rooms are carved into the hillside with sweeping views, especially at sunrise.Most of the rooms have a small pool in the front patio which gets warm water from the springs. Nice for stargazing or afternoon cool off. Comfy beds, nice shower, kitchen stocked with useful essentials. But since he has not officially opened his restaurant, we did not know we could get delicious Italian Pizza for our dinner, so we did not really use the kitchen.The big pool is fun and the hot soak is part of it. That is a nice temp. Be sure to walk down to the river, beautiful. The owner, Orlando and his family are lovely and welcoming.

Cons: The place is in the process of finishing which may take a few more years, but all a visitor needs is available. If you do not do stairs well, this could be a hard place to enjoy, as the rooms are up with the view!

Pros: Sehr schöne neue Räume, freundliches Personal und eine sehr nette Katze.

Cons: Die Anfahrt war etwas lang und die Hotelanlage um das Zimmer wird gerade noch gebaut. Der Aufenthalt war dadurch nicht beeinträchtigt, es wird aber in Zukunft sicher noch schöner!

Pros: We had to stay here for one night because our flight back home got cancelled. We booked extremely last minute and when we showed up we were treated like family instantly! The facilities are beautiful and in fantastic condition. Waking up to the volcanos was beautiful. The beds were clean, no bugs, the staff was the best part. Orlando the owner is a class act and couldn’t have been a better host. When we come back to Costa Rica it is without a doubt we will be spending our whole trip there.

Cons: Absolutely nothing it was perfect.
