Would definitely stay again ⭐

Pros: Super comfy double bed, hot showers and a peaceful pool 😍 the AC was great to come home to. Beautiful walk along river Baru to get to town and the beach.

Pros: possibility to leave a luggage after check-out and pick it up later, quiet place, swimming pool, stable wifi.

Cons: price for single traveller. not a con but just take into consideration the distance from town (shops, restaurants, main beach) if you are without vehicle.

Lovely place to sleep

Pros: Lovely bedroom and bathroom with very efficient air conditioning, really comfortable beds and nice shower. Friendly and very helpful native-English speaking owner who responded immediately to any requests from us. Comfortable sofa overlooking pool area. Nice location by banks of Baru River.

Cons: Mesh-screened living and cooking area was, perhaps inevitably, quite dusty. Pretty limited from a self-catering perspective as we only had a plug-in electric hotplate which was very slow to heat anything. No basics e.g. salt, pepper, oil provided.

Great cabin with a laid back vibe

Pros: The cabin had good WiFi, very comfortable bed, efficient air con, a well equipped kitchen and modern bathroom. The owner was friendly and helpful. We loved our short stay here and wished we’d stayed a bit longer.

Pros: The property itself was lovely and the location and nature surrounding it as well. It's also a 15-20 min walk to town all flat with trees and the river surrounding you on the way

Great surprise stay

Pros: Really nice surprise & exceeded our expectations. Lovely pool with bird song all around. Accommodation in snug huts all en-suite and nice location by the river. Great floral gardens for the birds. Easy access into town for local restaurants. Great day trip to naucaya waterfall x

Awesome!

Pros: Great quiet place to stay, staff were awesome and the pool was great. Surrounded by nature, you wake up to amazing bird songs coming through your window and its close to pretty much everything.

Pros: The wooden house has seen many years, but it has charm, is generously laid out, and very comfortable. The garden and pool are fantastic.

Cons: The kitchen equipment could be more complete; for example, there are no proper glasses.

Pros: The location was great, the room was nice and spacious. The beds where comfortable, we like hard mattresses. The staff was friendly and responsive. We could walk to town which we did many times for breakfast and dinner.
