Wonderful place to stay

Pros: The view is apparently the best in Cista Rica. It was amazing! Food was excellent and we enjoyed the pool. We saw lots of wildlife.

Cons: The room was a bit dated but had an incredible view so it was ok. Food is very expensive.

A gorgeous hotel in a stunning location

Pros: A stunning hotel located on the cliffs of Jaco. Our room was stunning and everything was really clean. Check in was easy and the staff were exceptional. The food at the restaurant was really good but expensive, but I guess you are paying for the view really. The infinity pool is stunning, made even more magical by the macaws that flew past twice! A wonderful hotel and would’ve loved to have stayed longer

Cons: The resort is located on quite a lot of steep levels, but mostly accessible. There didn’t seem to be much parking available that we could see, but was fine for the one night we stayed.

Stunning views, amazing staff. Definitely go!

Pros: • the views are stunning • the pool is beautiful • staff so friendly and spoke great English • lovely spacious comfy room • wildlife! Interesting birds and monkeys in the resort • private beach is worth a visit too • food was good

Cons: • breakfast not included, which made it much worse value for money and was an unexpected cost • the food service in the restaurant is consistently slow - at one breakfast we did need to ask for our juice three times, and one dinner we had to wait 10 mins for our bottle of wine. The view is great so it’s not a hardship but it did bring the overall score down. The pool bar was fast though

Beautiful hotel in amazing location

Pros: Absolutely stunning location, and lovely rooms, with friendly staff. The outlook from the infinity pool is second to none, and from our balcony we saw a stunning range of birdlife.

Cons: We booked and prepaid a deluxe room with sea view, but on arrival were allocated a small dark room with tiny balcony facing the opposite side of the hotel room 32. After some discussion we were offered another room to match our requirements but it was an upgrade to a villa. Initially the hotel insisted that we should pay for this. I refused and they agreed to honour our booking.. Food is quite expensive and the beach (about 1 mile down the hill on a very rutted track) is very disappointing, unappealing for swimming. A kettle in the room would have been nice, we only had a filter coffee maker.

Pros: A real perl in the middle of the jungle on the Pacific ocean coast. The hotel and the restaurant are member of the Chaine des Rotisseurs. Owner and the general manager are drom France. They know haw real luxuary works and the crew are ready to fulfill this! Tucans, white face monkies, scarlet macaws are in the price 😁

Cons: I can not tell anything... For us everithing was perfect!

Faded glory but oh, those views!!

Pros: Beautiful jungle setting, stellar views and sunsets, private beach, nice staff

Cons: It’s quite dated. Price to high for what you get, rooms and facilities need maintenance/renovation, beach area needs some love and repair, so much potential

It was an amazing stay. As a couple we had all we needed to enjoy life together.

Pros: I love the privacy of the room, the jacuzzi, the view, and every single detail in the room, it's obvious to me that great attention has been put to the architectural design of the hotel and particularly the junior suite in which we stayed. The beach was a nice surprise, didn't have idea there was access to a private beach.

Cons: I wish I could stay longer.

Pros: As a local , this is my favorite hotel in Costa Rica...I had never paid attention to it because of the location, but once I made a reservation I havent stopped going, and everytime someone from abroad visits, I take them there. It is always AMAZING!
