Hotel Ocotal Bed & Breakfast

Nicely located, good boutique hotel near ocotal beach

Pros: Great location - six minute walk to the beach and near a little shop. Property is sometimes rented out with all rooms for one booking so has a small boutique feel. Great little pool and central Lounge / breakfast area.

Cons: Very small rooms for four (even with two small kids). More than a day would have resulted in strife!

Nice place nestled outside of Coco beach

Pros: It's a very clean and well taken care of bed and breakfast. The decor is very nice and boho. The rooms are super clean however a bit on the smaller side. There were quite a few hot options for breakfast but I think incorporating something like a fruit smoothie would have been a nice addition

Cons: The place is close to the road so you can hear the cars going by. Grounds are well taken care of with a nice little pool area

Pros: This is a hidden gem of a place and the pictures/online presence do not do it justice. Very friendly staff, robust breakfast, quiet and interesting space once you're inside/on property...a little mini-oasis, and just a quick drive or walk down to the beach. I would stay here again coming or going from the Liberia airport in a heartbeat.

Great spot for our last night before flying out of Liberia.

Pros: A beautiful collection of buildings nestled on a hillside. Everything seems to have been upgraded. The decor is very modern. Nice small pool. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. There is a great restaurant located on the beach just down the road. Very close to Coco as well.

Cons: Water pressure was low for shower...but no big deal. Very tricky to locate the entrance located on a bend on a busy road.

Pros: very clean and modern, good parking, 10 min walk to beach, decent breakfast

Cons: rooms and pool nearby a noisy road, No window can be opened, fresh air only via air conditioner. Some rooms dont have a glas window - absolutely closed by walls🤪

Wonderful, wish we could have stayed longer.

Pros: Breakfast was fantastic, the location was perfect for going to the beach, however it was a little difficult to get snacks or shopping without a car.

Pros: Great facility! Spacious room with walk-in closet Comfortable beds Clean Great shower with hot water! Super friendly staff - Marcela is amazing! Close to the beach (walking distance) - great for snorkelling Pool is refreshing - good size and lots of chairs Kids loved the ping-pong table!

Cons: In the middle of nowhere! (Cannot walk to the grocery store/restaurants - need a car)

Nice stay

Pros: The place is spectacular! It is a well maintained property with an excellent location to the beaches. Just over a hill you have an incredible view of Playa Ocotal. 100% recommended.

Super Cute Boutique Hotel in Rural Costa Rica

Pros: Such a sweet little hotel! The ladies there making breakfast and giving us recommendations were so lovely and welcoming. I would recommend anyone looking for a little budget-friendly place right near the beach to stay here!

Cons: The wifi was a little spotty but we stayed for a whole week and only had issues one of the days we were there!
