Relaxing stay in playa hermosa

Pros: The staff was professional and friendly. Super nice with our 3yo at all times. The property is located right at the beach and the whole ambience was quite chill.

Cons: Compared to other parts of the country, the prices are a bit too high (but in line with other similar places nearby).

Enjoyed our stay, loved the staff, good food but pricey.

Pros: We had an oceanfront room with balcony which was great. While we like being on the ocean we’re not sun lovers per se so being in the shade but able to see the beach and ocean (through the trees) was nice. It also meant we didn’t need to use a beach chair very often (which were plentiful but could be busy). Staff were excellent - friendly and helpful. Food and beverage were both good, but a bit pricey. Appreciated the happy hour 1/2 price drinks.

Cons: The facility needs a few repairs (e.g., the curtain on one of our windows didn’t close; some of the cement steps on the staircases are crumbling).

Nice enough but not great

Pros: Beachside location, garden, size, not far from the airport, large room with pleasant sea view, large bed, strong aircon, friendly, helpful staff, happy hour in upstairs bar

Cons: A bir isolated. No minibar, snacks, tea or bottled water available in the room, no clothes line or drying rack in the room while having a rule of not hanging wet bathers etc on verandah; small pool, “outdoor hot tub” in fact an outdoor bath with no hot water! A bit pricey, breakfast extra.

Pros: We had a great time! The staff was so sweet and accommodating! The restaurant staff was beyond exceptional. The rooms were clean and the beach was beautiful! The beach is second to none, it was never super crowded and the temperature was perfect. We even got to see some eagle rays glide past us! The pool is great, perfect for kids.

Cons: The wifi was spotty at times in the room, but that just reminded me to get off my phone and get to the beach. There’s a little gap between the door and the floor so there were some bugs in the room, but that wasn’t a big deal.

Pros: The beach is steps away from the property. Calm, quiet oasis.

Pros: Beach was fantastic and the room was the best we had.

Cons: The breakfast was no good and the service was very slow but that was ok because the place is beautiful. A place like this should always offer a bathrobe, but that was not the case.

Wonderful place

Pros: We arrived at Bosque del Mar directly from Liberia. The setting is amazing, the pool is great for kids and the room was very good as well.

Pros: The location was beautiful! The ground were well kept and breakfast was great!

Pros: L’hôtel est top, donne accès direct à la plage, le service au restaurant a été parfait et rapide, les chambres sont très agréables. Nous avons profité des activités offertes sur place comme piscine et kayak.

Pros: El bosque es fantástico; Permite relajarse y la playa es de acceso directo y muy agradable

Cons: El restaurant tiene opciones acotadas para desayuno. La cena muy sobrevalorada. El hotel esta en plena reformas por lo que hay muchos trabajos, lo que impide un buen descanso
