Hotel Cayuga

Great hotel if you are taking the ferry - kind and helpful team.

Pros: It was very convenient overnight stay to take the ferry - there was a pool and restaurant and the room was very clean. Staff were very helpful and kind. We enjoyed our dinner there and lovely breakfast too. Thank you

Cons: The hotel is great for a short stay but we felt its location was not somewhere where we would have wanted to stay for longer. This may be our mistake - we asked a receptionist to tell us the way to the beach - he said left -but we walked that way and all the entrances to the beach were blocked off… we think he meant right ( and our fault again for not speaking better Spanish) … it was only the next day we saw the lively town and possibly better access to the beach as we were driving to the ferry. Perhaps some local information in the rooms may be helpful. The main thing was the music at the pool - our room was opposite and it was very very loud all afternoon until about 8pm - turn it down a little and would be great!

Pros: The location was very convenient. Swimming pool is big and the breakfast was great.

Cons: The parking is limited. Once you park it, you can’t take it out. Otherwise you can lose the spot.

Great hotel with friendly staff and delicious breakfast

Pros: The breakfast was very delicious! All the staff was super friendly and kind. Everything was clean and tidy.

Cons: My room had no window which wasn't obvious to me from the booking, and it was missing hooks to hang things up or just unpack a little. I had to have the AC running whenever I was in the room and that got a bit noisy at night. The parking is nice, but the curbs are so high that I damaged my car a little going out.

Pros: Exceptional location for me after returning from 10 Days of Diving at Cocos National Park. It’s Very close to Drop off . The pool is Perfect & breakfast. Great place to decompress after Nitrox Diving. The Staff were VERY accommodating!!!!!

Good hotel

Pros: In general the hotel was good. Friendly people. Good information. Good service. Room was fine, and looked very well renovated. Swimmingpool was good.

Cons: Breakfast was nothing special, but maybe this very limited kind of breakfast is typical for Costa Rica.

Pros: Lovely place to stay. Close to the shops and promenade. Really helpful and friendly staff. Good bar for in the evenings. Close to sodas. Good walk to the tip of Puntarenas. Lovely pool area. All very clean - lots of staff.

A good little hotel.

Pros: A good hotel. My room was clean, comfy and a good size. The pool was lovely and the area around it well designed to provide plenty of shade which was welcome. The restaurant served good food.

Cons: The breakfast was basic but filling.
