Great Location & Beautiful Property

Pros: Great location in the heart of Tamarindo. The beach is just a 5 minute walk, and tons of great restaurants nearby. Really cool Spanish style hotel, it's an older hotel but very well maintained. The bed was comfy. The pool was beautiful. Staff were very friendly, we would return for sure.

We had a very relaxing stay, enjoying a short walk to the beach and restaurants and relaxing in the quiet pool area.

Pros: Central location. Great pool. Friendly & helpful staff.

Pros: Very friendly staff and pet friendly hotel! The location is great, the beach is literally walking distance in front of the hotel. There are many restaurant options around and the pool was amazing!

Cons: I wish they had breakfast included for the price we paid per night. Tamarindo is very expensive overall, specially for locals.

A really good option for low budget/ basic needs with great outdoors!

Pros: The staff is friendly, accommodating, the rooms have a decent size, comfy bed, the pool is great! For the price, a really good option.

Cons: I loved the outdoor kitchen, though I wished for more amenities & structure there ( plates, cutlery, no oil, salt, pepper, no basics for cooking, really old cookware, etc). In general the outdoor is very well maintained, the indoors has gotten into the years & could use some replacement here and there. No hair dryer.

Great hotel right in city center & accross the beach, bars, restaurants, shops

Pros: Perfect location, right in city centre, across de street from the beach & all the restaurants & bars. Beautiful decorated rooms, big terrace with great views over the swimming pool. Lovely staff.

Cons: A bit noisy because of the location but this is the compromise you do choosing to stay very central.

I try to find reasons to return over and over. Reasonable when the rest of the area is expensive.

Pros: My go to place for years and I've stayed at some higher end that were lacking. Centrally located, park once and mostly walkable. Built and run by the same family that take pride in making you comfortable.

Cons: Zero dislikes. You'll run into local and foreign guests that also regularly return. Why bother with a restaurant when communal cooking is clean and well maintained or you can breakfast within steps. Always a pleasure to stay here.
