Perla de la Playa Beachfront Hotel

Great location but better food options required

Pros: Right by the beach and still in town! Friendly staff, beautiful terrace, rare birds and other animals sighted. And a very lovely stray cat who came to visit us every night!

Cons: Unfortunately no pool, no drinks or food on site, so you always had to get that elsewhere - even the breakfast :(

Beautiful stay!

Pros: The location of this property was absolutely wonderful, a small boutique hotel located on the beach. You can roll out of bed and go straight for a walk. The tie up with larger hotel diria was great to be able to have an included wonderful breakfast. We stayed in the king size sea view room. We sadly had an issue with noise due to animals in the roof (just something that can happen in Costa Rica) but the staff promptly acted on this and switched our room and offered refund for one night. They were helpful and thoughtful. I would very much recommend this place!

Pros: Cool little apart-hotel that's right on the beach. Perfect location. Also, great breakfast which takes place across the road.

Great location, comfy and quiet.

Pros: Great location, quiet at night, right on the beach. Giant comfy bed and great A/C. Staff were so friendly and offered late checkout without us even asking. Breakfast across the road at the bigger hotel was delicious.

Cons: No hairdryer in the room, and slightly pricy in my opinion.

Amazing intimate cozy hotel on the beach.

Pros: amazing location, very private, nice slow vibe but yet we can enjoy the amazing breakfast of the large hotel next door. Right on the beach. Wow. A simple accomodation but I'm very happy.

Cons: -hair conditioner -coffee, tea, water ? Mind you theres isn't much space for it..

L’hôtel est génial !

Pros: L’hôtel est super bien située. La plage est très sympa. On peut bénéficier de la piscine de l’hôtel Diria-la piscine est immense et superbe. Le petit déjeuner est exceptionnel. Le personnel, Pamela, est très accueillante. C’est un vrai plaisir de séjourner à cet hôtel. Chambre est spacieuse, l’hôtel donne les serviettes de plages, très pratique. La vie est splendide.

Pros: The staff was so kind and helpful. Being right on the beach- do I need to say more? Also, having the amenities from the neighboring resort made being there with a kiddo even easier.

Cons: Nothing. Loved it all.

Pros: Can't beat the location, it was so worth it to just be able to go back and forth from the beach to the hotel because it is quite hot so I didn't want to be at the beach for more than an hour at a time. Plus you don't want to leave a bunch of your belongings on the beach when you go in the water

Cons: No closet, hangers, hooks, desk, chair, dresser or much storage in the room, my stuff was kind of scattered everywhere. The bathroom is big and nice. The stairs are a little treacherous and should be updated. Otherwise it was a good room.
