Breathtaking view of Arenal

Pros: Breathtaking view of Arenal; very nice staff who patiently answered all questions & organized excursions & wellness; our lodge was beautiful, comfortable bed, shower with breathtaking views, just a dream; also very quiet

Pros: Absolutely great view, extremely friendly stuff and perfectly organized (free shuttle busses to restaurant & great food)

gorgeous stay 30min out from La fortuna!

Pros: everything is wonderful! the location is stunning and it is 30 min away with taxi from la fortuna which is not a beautiful city so it is good to be a bit away from the noise and crowds.

Cons: breakfast is not in the same location, you need a shuttle bus to reach the buffet. it is very nice but a bit inconvenient some times :) also, there are not really eating options around the area so make sure you have dinner / lunch before getting back to the hotel.

Great views, lovely staff, quite remote so amenities needed

Pros: These are beautiful lodges with canopy views and very peaceful. We enjoyed looking out to the volcano and sitting on the balcony. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. It’s right across the road from Mistico Hanging Bridges and you basically have to enter the park gates (security guard) to enter so we felt very secure.

Cons: We think it would be best to have breakfast onsite or alternatively small kitchenettes. The lost iguana where you go for breakfast (2 min drive) was nice and the staff pleasant but it is very Americanised. Also good to know you are quite remote here so the drive back to La Fortuna is around 30 mins with only the same Lost Iguana as a meal option if you don’t want to drive in the dark. You feel as if the road is really remote driving in, as if you are going to the wrong place! We also didn’t see any wildlife at the accommodation itself nor a full view of the volcano, but we would still recommend to stay here for the tranquility and luxury

Stunning view of the Arenal Volcano

Pros: Stunning view, the bed was so comfortable. The waterfall showers were also an amazing feature of the rooms. It was amazing to wake up in the middle of the night and see the magnetic volcano even in the dark.

Nice stay, Little things to improve

Pros: Very nice place with great view if its not too cloudy/foggy. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

Cons: The bathtub feels very „unstable“/wobbly and there is zero chance to get anything to dry (mostly because of the humidity). More options to hang stuff would still be great. The room smells damp.

Pros: It was in the middle of the jungle and we saw wildlife passing by as we were sitting on the terrace .
