Paradise

Pros: The place is super secluded and located on a great beach. We loved the exotic surroundings—lots of birds! The vibe was really relaxed and uncrowded, and the room had everything we needed (water, coffee, etc.).

Cons: The food at the restaurant was pretty basic and way too expensive for what you get. We highly recommend walking down the beach to the Sunset restaurant instead—much better value! Also, be aware the showers are cold water only, and they make you turn the A/C off when you leave the room, which is a pain because it takes forever to cool down again.

Pros: * Owner (Sam) was incredibly helpful and responsive. * Very secluded location, at a much better beach than the one in the town. * Spacious room. * Wild life all around you.

Cons: * The restaurant in the hotel was like a school canteen, food was edible but not something you actually want to have. * The drive to the town was quite long and the route to the hotel (From the main road) was just horrible - we had 4x4 but it was impassable during (or after) the rain.

Pros: Fabulous location, immersed in the jungle, right on the beach and a long way from the crowds! Lots of birds and wildlife to see and nice walks from the cabinas. Samuel and the team were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. Everything was arranged for us, Samuel also arranged a trip to the national park for us with a great local guide, really worth doing. The rooms were comfortable and the food was tasty and healthy. Just for information - in low season there are no other restaurant/ soda options in the area and the nearest shop is around a 45 min - 1 hour walk away.

Pros: Incredibly beautiful location with a jungle feel right on the beach. The Amaya family and everyone involved are kind and very well organized - not used to such all-round service when traveling, we felt truly spoiled.

Amazing!

Pros: Sam and the Amaya family gave us a very warm welcome and we felt at home right from the moment we arrived. The bungalows are situated on the beautiful Playa Rincon with the possibility to do several hikes to other beaches and the jungle where we saw a lot of wildlife. The delicious food and the great vibes made this our favorite stop on our trip through Costa Rica! We can recommend this to anyone and would come back anytime! Thank you to the Amaya family and the team!

Pros: Location is great ! Villa is very spacious and comfortable, nice big beds ! Everything is there what you need Great sunsets and super bar , we danced Salsa merengue and bachata with everybody The food in the restaurant was the fist days not so special, but the tuna was delicious on our last day The staff ( Adrian , Samuel family his wife daughter and the people working there all very sympathetic) Adrian helped us a lot with the tour .

Pros: Wunderschöne Lage am Paradiesischen Strand Großes Bungalow mit Terrasse und Sitzmöglichkeiten Deckenventilator im Zimmer und auf der Terrasse. Kaffee und Tee Zubehör und ausreichend Trinkwasser im Zimmer Es gibt auch den ganzen Tag über Kaffee und Tee sowie Trinkwasser im Restaurant. Wir haben uns gefühlt wie im Paradies einer einsamen Insel.

Cons: • Zimmer hatte keine richtigen Fenster nur Moskitonetze mit Lücken - es wurde sehr feucht im Zimmer inkl die Kleidung sobald es geregnet hat • die Mahlzeiten kosten Extra - hat sehr gut geschmeckt, waren jedoch kleine Portionen • die Tour zu San Pedrillo würde ich nicht empfehlen. Es klang gut mit weniger Touristen und einen Wasserfall jedoch liefen wir 4 Stunden nur am Strand und den Wasserfall haben wir gar nicht besucht - 95$ pro Person waren es nicht wert

Pros: Krásné, odlehlé místo, skvělá atmosféra, jednoduše ale vkusně a prakticky zařízené bungalovy přímo v lese a zároveň přímo u pláže. A Samuel, pro kterého nic není problém a snažil se nám ve všem vyjít vstříc. Pomohl nám dokonce vyřešit problém s batohem, který jsme potřebovali přemístit do Puerto Jimenez, protože jsme z Playa Rincón pokračovali na dvoudenní túru v Corcovadu.

Cons: Nic nás nenapadá

Pros: L'emplacement était magnifique, le personnel et le patron étaient serviable et l'écoute.

Rare place to find!! Truly a hidden gem.

Pros: This property has a wonderful history. It is a family run property and we were welcomed with open arms. Every morning we would wake up to the sounds of Toucans, Macaws and hundreds of other exotic birds. We even had a Tapir visit our place one evening. The drinks were amazing and the food was good and very reasonably priced. The beach was amazing and swimming was great. If you want something very special and romantic, this is heaven!!!
