Lemon House Monteverde

Pros: We loved the remote location and having coffee out on the patio. Great value with a kitchen!

Cons: The WiFi didn’t work for me. :(

Pros: Difficult to find at first. It could use a sign on road. Very noisy dogs all night nearby.

Best place to stay in Monteverde!

Pros: This is a really amazing and remote house far from all the noise with an amazing view on the valley and the mountains! Especially beautiful in the evening when the clouds go down from the mountains to the valley and everything around looks really mysterious. The house has everything you need so you really feel like you’re at home. The house and all the furniture is made of wood so it helps you to connect even more with the nature. What was really convenient is that we could make a self check-in and check-out. The place is only 15-20 minutes drive from Monteverde national park. We’ve seen a lot of colibris there as well :)

Pros: Amazing views , highly recommend the property, secluded and just prefect. Very clean and the owner communicated everything very well. We definitely wanted to stay longer.

I didn’t expect too much with the price. I am happy as long as it is safe and clean.

Pros: Easy pay process, quiet location, pretty view, reasonable price, cancellation policy, nice neighbor. We got lost (dark & rain) and entered the neighbor’s yard. The young couple came out and directed us driving out the yard . He also got in our car and helped us to find the house. He has been helping maintaining the yard so is familiar with its condition and can direct us easily. He walked back home after making sure we were OK. Really appreciate it.

Cons: The direction provided by booking.com didn’t work for me. Tried to call the number provided for direction but no answer. Bigger bed would be helpful.

Pros: Out of town, but near every thing. Had a kitchen. Beautiful and clean. Owner was very helpful.
