We had one of our best stays in Costa Rica at Los Gallitos.

Pros: This is a great place with nice forest and landscape around. The pool at Los Gallitos is amazing and the host is very friendly and welcoming. Very nice joint facilities with kitchen, large living room area and a great veranda with hammocks etc. in a separate traditional wooden building Great place for families and many attractions around to enjoy waterfalls, blue pools, forest and wildlife.

Cons: Nothing to complain about. Everything perfect!

Pros: Loved this place. Lots of wildlife. Best toucan spotting of anywhere we stayed in Costa Rica. jorge was so welcoming and the view from the veranda was wonderful.

View from the balcony is spectacular, shared kitchen is well equipped, we didn’t lack anything and felt very comfortable. Swimming pool was clean and kids had a lot of fun there :) 10/10, worth recomanding!

Pros: This is really a magical place! Very well maintained, lovely swimming pool with spring water, stunning views, yummy breakfast and excellent service. It's family owned and they really take good care of you. We loved this place and we highly recommend it. And it's off touristy paths!

Pros: Large room with large comfortable bed. Traditional Costa Rican breakfast is delicious. Equipment is very basic and rustic style. Nice swimming pool.

Pros: this is a very special place. it is perfect for nature lovers, it is quiet and located within a lush and maintained surrounding with a huge communal nice space with a porch where you can watch a variety of birds that we didn't even see in reserves. there is a kitchen that you can freely use and attractions around like the poas volcan and del toro falls. the host is a lovely person who is more than willing to help with whatever you need from finding attractions around to helping with coffee making and instructions to watch the wildlife. don't expect a fancy cabin but a basic and clean one, also there is great wifi around the whole property. the pictures do not do this place justice! and if we ever visit Costa Rica again we are sure to pay a visit to this charming place
