Nice memories here, will come back for sure

Pros: Good option within 2 hours of San Jose airport. Super easy access to primary forest. Sloths and monkeys in abundance around your room.

Pros: Room was a good size and comfortable. Lodge is within a reserve with lots of birds, iguanas and other wildlife. Secure parking area is a comfort- and a good wildlife spotting area!

Cons: Restaurant is a soulless hall and food is not very good. The lodge has a rather functional air about it, lacking the personal friendliness of other places we've stayed in Costa Rica.

Hotel location next to the park, the tour guide was the best we had in Costa Rica

Pros: Great location next to the park, the night tour was great and very informative.

Cons: Bathroom had a bad smell and the garden did not look as good as photos on web site overlooked a wall.

Beautiful accommodation but restricted times to visit the forest

Pros: The room was beautiful with our own patio looking into a line of vegetation

Cons: The times you can walk over the bridge and visit the forest are very restricted.

Great location, lovely staff , tired decor

Pros: The forest is fantastic -the aerial bridges breathtaking. Saw loads of wildlife just in the little garden area at the back of our room .

Cons: The bedroom was plain and not very aesthetically pleasing. Lighting is awful !

Great reserve and authentic lodges with great guides

Pros: We were upgraded which made the value for money very good including the pass to the park (we paid 86€ for two people). - They can provide you with great guides! We had an awesome experience with ours for the twilight tour.

Cons: The restaurant is convenient but not very good

Nice stay with nice trails

Pros: The room was spacious and clean. The trails on the property were a nice addition. We encounter an howler monkey while crossing the bride.

Cons: To access the trails, you need to cross a suspension bridge, which may not be suitable for those with a fear of heights. Some of the trails are not well maintained, with muddy and slippery sections that can be challenging to navigate. The breakfast was average, without many options

Pros: This place is fantastic spent 3 days and would have liked to stay longer. Beautiful location in protected rainforest, great walks and guides , lots of birds and wildlife

A brilliant rainforest experience

Pros: In the middle of the rainforest so great fauna and flora. Really enjoyed the night walk. Lovely watching wildlife from your breakfast table. It would be great if they could rent out some good binoculars.

Great location on the Sarapiqui River with pristine forest, good guides, comfortable rooms.

Pros: Great location on the banks of the Sarapiqui River, impressive suspension bridge walkway across the river to the tropical forest on the other side, very good guided tours at night and in day time. Friendly restaurant with reasonable food for dinner and breakfast. Simple but comfortable rooms. Be sure to also book a visit to \
