Villa Golondrina Cabaña rodeada de Naturaleza

Pros: This place was incredible. Fairly remote, but a very well equipped property, stunning views, very comfortable, and excellent hosts. Be prepared to be out of town, i.e. if you are planning to eat out every meal, probably a bit inconvenient but with some groceries this place is incredible. The hosts left a small basket of fruit and bread too which was lovely!

Cons: The neighbours dog greeted us when we arrived and was too excitable (and nippy). Fortunately it didn't hang around. Otherwise amazing.

Lovely remote getaway in the mountains with 15-20 minute access to Saint Elena and Monteverde!

Pros: Wonderful location, Totally private. Very well stocked kitchen. Gas grill on siteLight breakfast provided our first morning- fresh eggs and bread and honey. Lovely gardens, friendly dog. Short hike down to the river. Might be for: families, couples with a sense of adventure who like remote location who want to be able to cook and don’t mind sharing a bathroom. Might not be as good for visitors unable to go up and down stairs to the restroom or folks who want to eat out at restaurants a lot. (The muddy road to the property could be challenging at night). We were home every evening before dark for the wonderful sunsets! Highly recommend!

Desconexión en la naturaleza

Pros: La casita se encuentra en un entorno natural lo suficientemente alejada del pueblo como para descansar y desconectar. La anfitriona fue muy atenta y respondió rápidamente a nuestros mensajes. Quizás nos hubiera gustado disponer de más espacio de sofá para poder disfrutar juntos.

El lugar es increíble

Pros: La casa está muy bien, super limpia y cómoda, es un lugar precioso, todo muy cuidado y el sitio es inmejorable. Marta la dueña de la casa es un encanto y Carlos que es vecino de la casa es un guia local, con el que hicimos un tour nocturno y nos encantó, se preocupó de qué pudiésemos ver la mayor cantidad de animales posibles. Sin duda repetiríamos.

Pros: Las vistas desde la casa y la cocina-salon bien equipada. Tuvieron muy buen detalle al ofrecernos la cancelacion por unas obras en la carretera que aumentaban el tiempon de desplazamiento para ir al pueblo y realizar las actividades. Tambien nos dejaron para desayunar el primer dia.

Cons: Las camas no eran muy comodas

Pros: Ein wunderschön eingerichtetes Haus mitten in der Natur. Uns fehlte es an nichts. Es war wirklich toll die Natur rundherum genießen zu können und alles zu haben was man braucht. Es ist sehr sauber und mit ganz viel Liebe eingerichtet. Unser lieber Freund Charlie macht auch ausgezeichnete Touren wenn man möchte 😃

Pros: I highly recommend staying here! The location is convenient to Monte Verde. The roads between the house and town were not bad overall. The house and property are very clean, comfortable and tidy. The host and hostess are so friendly and do their best to make you feel at home. They are happy to provide recommendations for the area, and you can book guided tours with the host. A welcome basket of fruit, bread, eggs and juice were provided at our arrival. The kitchen has all the essentials you would need to make a meal, and tea/coffee are also provided. The property backs up to the cloud forest, and there is a private trail down to a creek in the forest. Each evening we sat on the balcony to admire the beautiful scenery and watch incredible sunsets over the mountain vista. The only disappointment was that we couldn't stay longer. We would definitely stay here again if we're back in the area.
