Close to nature and calm

Pros: Lovely place 15min ride from la fortuna. We loved being amongst all the animals, close to the nature. We ended up extending our stay one night.

Pros: We loved staying here!! It is few km out of La Fortuna and we loved that, it is just quiet and peace and all you hear are animals. The place has everthing you need, really perfect place.

Peaceful place with lot of hummingbirds

Pros: Beautiful Casita, very peacefully located with many hummingbirds in the garden. The hosts were very friendly. The kitchen is fully equipped. The location is very quiet and very close to La Fortuna. A laundry service is also offered. We would definitely come back.

Great cozy spot

Pros: Great spot right outside of the city, not too far from Arenal and most activities. The hosts were nice and accommodating, they even showed us around their milk farm by the river. Small space but everything you need for a short confortable stay!

Cons: Some water overflowed with the big rain, might need some floor isolation to avoid this.

Pros: The owners are very kind, helpful and welcoming, they really care about you and that everything is going fine. The house position is great if you have a car cause it's not far from the center and is so quiet and near a forest. In the morning a lot of colibrì visit the house, that's amazing! And you can hear the monkeys from the forest. Kitchen, bathroom and bedroom are perfect.

Pros: The house is located in the countryside, there is a beautiful garden with flowers which attract multitude of birds, including several species of hummingbirds. It's wonderful to sit outside in the garden and watch the birds, I was able to take many photos of birds. The house is small but comfortable, large fridge. The owners are very friendly and live nearby. There is a possibility to wash the clothes for an extra fee.

Cons: The water temperature in the shower was unstable.

Pros: Really nice bungalow in the nature. Comfortable bed, clean. 15 min by car to town. Nice terrace with garden. Really quiet. AC

Cons: We had two cockroaches in the room.

Pros: A simple rural house, which had everything we needed including good WiFi , ac, meshed windows, and a well equipped kitchen . There is a lovely secluded garden where we had breakfast amongst the hummingbirds. The owners are very friendly and helpful. It was easy to find.
