Pros: Wonderful location surrounded by lush greenery — it was so peaceful to listen to the birds singing. The veranda with rocking chairs was a perfect place to relax. Several great restaurants are within walking distance. A special thank you to the staff — the administrator gave excellent recommendations on how to spend my time, and every suggestion was spot on.

Great place, lovely, helpful staff. Peaceful and relaxing!

Pros: What a charming hotel! In a lovely leafy spot, with plenty of birds and monkeys popping by to say hi. The staff were efficient and very friendly. The breakfast has a couple of options 'American' (egg and toast) and 'Typical' (Costa Rican) which was great. Very peaceful and quiet place to spend a few nights in Monteverde :)

Pros: Secluded in a forest, yet close to restaurants and town, the peace and quiet is interrupted only by sounds from wildlife :) we were able to see more animals here than in the park

Pros: The building is very nice, really close to the forest, we got to see some beautiful birds when there. Breakfast is also nice and staff is friendly, Leslie helped us book taxis during our stay. The room we got is basic but nice.

Cons: It would be nice to add an extra night table on the other side so that both people can have a space for belongings.

Pros: The owning family kindly service, the location, and the forest around the property. The room is very beautiful, modern, and clean. It has huge windows and skylights that expose you to nature. Still very secluded and private, even with open windows.
