Pros: The highlight is the approach from lady at reception = easy check and check out (at 5 a.m.). Close to city center and there are multiple shops and restaurants around.
Cons: noisy due to the traffic = cars, buses, trains. Room key must be stored at reception when leaving the hotel.

Pros: This is a great little Guest House, situated only 10 minutes from the city centre. The hostess Aida is lovely, nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are spotlessly clean. Excellent value for money.
Cons: A bit noisy, but fine if you bring earplugs.

It was a great experience, perfect location and price. Definitely recommend this nice little hotel!
Pros: Aida is such a sweetheart, she took really good care of us, the energy of the hotel is very positive and comfy. SUPER clean, I was even impressed how clean and nice it looked. The rooms are simple, with private bathroom and a tv. It has a lovely style with flowers and other lovely decorations, and a nice balcony to sit and relax. You can tell they take good care of the place! Thank you Adia!! 😊
Cons: The only thing was being right in the middle of the central city noise, but that has nothing to do with the hotel, the city is the city, and the convenience of being close to everything outweights the normal city noise..

Pros: Cute little hotel in a strategic position in San José. The room is very basic, but it's got everything you need. There's hot water, and the bed is very comfortable. Excellent price compared to other hotels in San José!
Cons: There is ZERO sound insulation. You hear anything happening outside of your room and even in other guests' rooms. Also, from 4.30am the sound of traffic and the honking of the train are very loud. So, if you're a light sleeper, keep that in mind.

Pros: We stayed at Hotel Trianon for one night while passing through San José. Aida, the owner, is very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms are very clean, spacious, and the bed is comfortable. The cafe has great cakes, and the staff is lovely. Aida also helped us arrange a taxi for our early departure. We had a nice dinner at Don Marisco, a nearby restaurant. Definitely recommend!
