Nice Place Hostel

Excellent and recommended stay at La Fortuna.

Pros: Nice Place has an excellent location, close to all amenities in town. Ana is a great host and she is always attentive to your needs; she has an individualize care for her guests. She open to hear your comments and suggestions

Brilliant

Pros: Location was very central. Very clean and much appreciated. Tap in bathroom was tricky. Only critisism

Cons: Tap in bathroom tricky

Good cost a option affective option

Pros: Ana was very friendly. The location is good, you’re away from any noise in town. The kitchen is well equipped. Good spaces for sitting to eat and some outside space. The room was a good size.

Cons: This is more of a home stay than a hostel. We booked hoping to have social hostel experience, so we’re disappointed that there was no atmosphere. The layout of the hallway and rooms means that you can hear people talking in the kitchen in the morning/evening. The bathroom cleaning could have been a little better. Before arrival we received a message to say there would be a charge for late check in which wasn’t advertised before booking, I explained this and was told we wouldn’t be charged for late check in. We ended up doing self check in with a key safe anyway.

Close to everything good value for money

Pros: The hostel was 5-minute walk from all the restaurants, cafes and tour offices. You can get a good view of Arenal from outside the hostel an even better view if you walk 100 meters down the street. The room was ensuite with AC and high-speed wifi

Cons: Off-season, no 1 is at reception, so you have to fiddle around with the gate to get in and out

Pros: Too good for the value. Huge kitchen and nice outside area!

Pros: Great location and a spacious room. The shared kitchen was also very well equipped.

À 2-night pleasant stay with good communication with the staff

Pros: Location, cleanliness, friendly staff, shared kitchen, laundry service

Cons: Room size and no window to outside

Would choose that place again

Pros: - second time staying there - lovely hosts - pretty quiet - walking distance to supermarket, restaurant - access to kitchen and fridge - great price

Cons: we would have appreciated the bins to be emptied every day. it was done once for 3 nights stay.

Pros: The host is very nice and provides excellent advice on what to see around La Fortuna.

Pros: Quite place, close to the city center. Nice private room with kitchen, little terase

Cons: smell of humidity in the room and bathroom
