Pros: Carmen was really sweet and waited up for us when our flight had been delayed. Room was perfect and the location was great!

Perfect overnight to the airport

Pros: The location to the airport is just 15mins walk away, perfect place to stay if your having an early or late flight.

Cons: The country in general prices can be ridiculously high. The place was great for your basic needs but the price just to steep which is normal for costa rica.

Literally walkable to the airport

Pros: It was actually a very comfortable stay. The owner was very helpful. I timed it, and it took 15 min to walk to the airport. The room was very clean and comfortable. Alajuela has cool nights, so lack of AC was not a problem. Great budget option for late arrivals or early morning departures.

Cons: A bit of noise from the road, made worse because I kept the outside door open for ventilation throughout the night. A bright neon sign/billboard nearby. Do bring earplugs and an eye mask.

Lovely host!

Pros: Very friendly woman with a nice house not too far from the airport. Perfect for just spending the night. Basic facilities and very clean! Shared bathroom with one other room. Walking distance from Walmart and Jumbo Cars.

Pros: Hosts were so kind and helpful! They helped us get to the airport and even offered reusable bags for the supermarket!

Pros: Close to the Airport and the Son of the family, Gino, gave me a ride to the airport at 3:45am for $15 US which was excellent.

A wonderful place to transition arrival/departure of Costa Rica

Pros: The location is superb for access to the airport. It also had a very quaint courtyard to sit. The place is very clean and Carmen is an absolute delight.

Cons: The rooms are small if you need a lot of space but, if traveling light they are plenty sufficient.
