Great location, lovely staff

Pros: Great location, really friendly and helpful staff and a decent kitchen.

Cons: Some sun loungers around the pool would be a nice addition.

Fun, friendly and good value hostel

Pros: Super friendly staff, the main man Chris gave us great advice and sorted some fun activities at a good price. The rest of the staff were lovely as well. The hostel garden and pool were fun, we even saw hummingbirds outside our room. The rooms themselves were basic but very reasonable for the price. Would definitely stay here again. Perfect location in the middle of town with safe, well lit walking distance to bars and restaurants

Cons: Would be helpful to have somewhere to dry clothes - the forest is very humid

Pros: Nice hostel located in the centre of La Fortuna. Walking distance from the central square, restaurants, bars, and grocery stores. Very friendly staff.

Great little place in town.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful from the time we arrived until departure. The bed was comfortable, AC worked, and everything was very clean. Location was great if you like to be in the middle of everything.

Cons: No hooks to hang wet towels or bathing suits or place to put your clothes. Not allowed to dry clothes outside room. The pool was icey so only used it once. Very noisy from 6am.

Pros: I appreciate all the happy from David, Chris and the girls on reception to book the tours. They always available to help me to get the best experience

Good value for the price

Pros: For the price it was a great place to stay. You can book activities, tours, and shuttle bus right from the lobby. The location is fantastic, right in town and you can walk to everything. I would stay there again.

Cons: There was nothing about this place that I didn't like.

Very good value, central, hotel

Pros: Our room had two big beds which were comfortable. For a very budget hotel, it was fairly spacious, and unusually for Costa Rica, had hot water in the sink. The shower was of good quality. The staff were exceptionally friendly and it felt secure.

Cons: Minor complaints; the patio doors didn’t lock which in theory meant there could’ve been access from the room next door. The pools were very small, so only suitable for splashing about in. I couldn’t find streaming channels on the TV.
